I put this up yesterday but it was moved to the Derby City Classic forum. I'll give it one more bump in the main forum.

"I just posted part 1 of a 2 part interview with Bernard Bunny Rogoff aka Pots and Pans that Randi Givens did with him in 1993. Great insight into "The Guv'ner."

Great post Freddy its funny Pots and Pans beat my dad using the drunk trucker routine in the 80's about 10 years later we moved to Las Vegas, i was only 3 at this time he ran back into him at the Cue Club and they shared stories of whats been happening. My dad got his revenge in 9-ball and says he was won of the best ever in 8-ball on the box. He recalls Bunny and Matlock as the best jam up artist out there. I really enjoyed the post after hearing the story now a hundred times its great to see other people out there who know about him. My dad and Bunny got a team together out of the rum runner with the owner and Danny Medina and wow let me tell you ive seen the trophys that team created its nuts:eek: . I was told he had several routines each tourney they went to he was either a clown, or Chaplin:)

Thanks for posting that Freddy, he had some great tips on hiding your speed. By the way, it is spelled Duqouin, IL.

The article said country was from New York. Was there also a guy called country from Detroit?

Great Interview. It's too bad that Bunny is cenile and comes out as an asshole everytime you see him around town here in Las Vegas. Everyone here in Vegas has had their time with him when they were ready to knock him out because of his constantly running mouth. The best though was the night at the cue club about 3 weeks ago when I thought Tony Drago was going to knock him out because he wouldn't keep his mouth shut while Tony was playing a $10,000 game of snooker against a drunk local.

Same guy.

Same guy. Spent a lot of time in Detroit. He and I played partners 1pkt once against Freddy Salem and won 8k, so I know him very well.

I just checked, it's still DuCoin, IL Givens also spelled it wrong in the interview.

My favorite "Governor" story was at this years "Doc Hill" tournament at the Rum Runner. His name came up during the player auction. Someone opened the bidding and Bernie immediately upped the bid to six hundred. Needless to say, he bought himself. Bad buy!!!! Yes, he's becoming senile. He's still got a story or two to tell. Thanks for the thread Freddy. Perhaps you could do the same for Mr Allen. Too many of his stories are being lost or forgotten as well.

last year at the derby there was a little old man, looked like he was 90, at least, doing magic tricks and hustle stuff
i asked someone nearby, who he was , and he said that's "pots & pans"
but, he must have been wrong, becuz, that isnt the same person
anybody have any idea who i'm talking about at the derby?

added: just saw the other thread, i guess that was him afterall
quite a bit younger in the pics
and he had a tophat on when i saw him
what a character!!!!!!!

Drago was complaining about somebody else talking during a match?

It was Bucktooth not Pots and Pans Tony was mad at but hey glad to see you know what your talking about sinc you were there:eek:  :D

Pots and Pans nite club act part 2 (audio)

Just finished editing part 2 of Bunnys nite club act (with music incidentally).
So part 1 and 2 of Randi Givens interview with Bunny is up, and part 1 and 2 of the audio of Bunny's nite club act is also now up. Truthfully, the jokes are horribly corny but I still laughed my ass off.
