Who makes a good one? It seems that they are usually less $$ than traditional cues. Is this right?

I have seen many butterfly cues that paul has made and in my opinion he is one of the best cue makers out there today . i have owned three of pauls cues and if i didnt start making my own i would still be playing with one of his today. I have worked for paul (as a grunt) and use many of his techniqueswhen building my cues.
. He has always told me "If you want to spend a lot of money become a cue maker" , that is a true statement but I love to see peoples reaction when they come to pick there cue up or showing one that I have made. I started out at Pauls with a machining background so I was able to pick it up quickly . I currently work a full time job and make cues on the side . I make around five per year . The pictures are of the last cue I have built with the 3d model I drew.
