I am sorry but it burns my ass to here this kid talk about his $2000 Lucasi. Personally I have never seen a Lucasi priced new for over $500 if my memory serves me right! Then he tries telling me that Lucasi is the only production cue made in the united states! Really? Last I heard Lucasi was made in China! Believe it or not I convinced the knuckle head in to buying a Meucci. I love Repping Meucci, I hate dealing with someone who is completely ignorant to billiards and billiards equipment yet they think they are a god to the sport when there game is so weak that they can't even get on a bar league team

Never argued with an idiot.

They will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

:sorry::sorry::sorry:

Dealers

Most local dealers are willing to sell a $2000 Lucasi if somebody wants to buy one! :D

lol... my pinto will run circles around your pacer.

I once got a really good deal on a Pacer from my boss who sold used cars on the side and my wife truly HATED that vehicle. She felt like she was a fish in a glass bowl. Needless to say, we didn't keep it very long.

Anyone that spends $2k on a Lucasi, if they did indeed spend that much, deserves to be laughed at. However, you really didnt do him any favors by convincing him to buy a Meucci. Sorry but any Lucasi no matter the price is going to be better than any recently made Meucci.

$2000 Lucasi....funny
$2 more like it..then again a well disciplined player can shoot any cue

Doesn't surprise me at all. I was told by one of the league players that his pawn shop Predator sneaky was worth $1500.

But he is also the guy that has Milk Duds made just for him and he pays $300 a piece for them. It takes close to year to make one because they are pressed over and over.

Every time I run into him, I get him going by saying something totally over the top just so he can one up me on something better.
My wife just gives me the evil look and shakes her head cause she knows whats about to take place.

He showed me a POS Players cue once and insisted it was a Huebler.

He has played and beaten Earl Strickland.

That brings back some good memories. I had a friend in SoCal that did the same thing. At first it was annoying, but then it almost became a game for those of us that were 'in the know' of Matt. We'd start up conversations about going places, then mention things like helicopters, just so he could tell us about the time he learned how to fly a helicopter when he was in Fiji or some place he'd never been. Of course, we'd also start mentioning other things, like doing skiing drops and stuff like that, just to see how much more unbelievable he'd make things.

That was quite the group of friends.. especially the guy that got convinced he had farted in the car. Years(5 or so?) later I brought it up.. he said, "I knew it wasn't me!" I still couldn't believe he got suckered into that one and still questioned it all those years.. what a gas.

Sorry, back to the $2000 Lucasi.

There's also somebody I see around from time to time that has a few habits.. one being that he'll spend up to 10 or 15 minutes between shots(!!) to ramble on and on. Another habit is that if you try to interject something during his ramble, he slowly gets louder.. kinda funny to keep doing it so that he's damn near yelling. Well, funny unless you'd like to shoot a game. I walked into a doubles game one time, one or two sets of quarters up and paused.. he said to put quarters up, it'll only be a 30 minute wait at the most. 45 minutes later they started the next game. :boring:

I have to disagree with you on Meucci's here in the past while. Meucci was the leading cue for so many years and then Bob moved the facility to Sledge MS. Big mistake, the reason Meucci got a bad name was because of people/idiots not properly doing there jobs! Bob has since then moved Meucci INC back close to where it was before, Meucci sits right next to my ranch in Byhalia MS. Since he moved it back to the area he hired back a lot of his old employees that did not make the move with him. Please until you have shot a game with a more modern Meucci after ''the bad era'' Meucci, well it doesn't really matter what you or anyone else would has to say when not really knowing the facts! What kind of cue do you choose to shoot with? I can tell you now that I have never shot with what ever it is due to the fact I am hard core Meucci. What I can tell you is that I promise you that they have had a bad run and I can find dirt on them. However if I was to investigate the company and find dirt on them and they correct there mistake like Meucci did I would not one time say that they are worthless ect. If a conversation came up about there mistakes and producing junk I am not going to call the product junk if they correct it.

If Bob was in charge and hired these ''idiots'' who's fault is that. I bought a cue from them a couple of years ago the workmanship sucked and it took months for them to make it right. I'll never buy another cue from them after that experience. My brother sold them years ago when they were a much better cue company.

I have a Meucci from the crappy era (2001 or so) and it plays just fine... I've hit some friends Predators and have always come to the conclusion that it would take me a long time to get used to the different hit and could never justify the money spent on a another cue that may, or may not hit as well as mine... I have a red dot shaft and the 314's felt very thick and clunky when I hit them... The Z has me very intrigued though.

Well here is the deal, Bob hired them, they did great work to start. They became lazy on the job and did 2nd hand work. I am sorry you got a bad cue and it took so long to fix! When you did get it back was it a quality cue? 99 percent of my Meuccis are originals, I know what you mean about the older ones but they have made a come back on quality

Hey 2 for Meucci one against it! lol JK Everyone has there opinion. Saturn automotive almost went under because they was having fires behind the dashes of there cars the first year or two of building cars. But they fixed the issue. If everyone had of boycotted them rather than giving them a chance to fix the problem, well you know what would have happened.
