Question...
I recently purchased a cue from an AZer. Well, to say the least it was a bumpy ride. They did not ship for a week and a half with no communication. Then they said they would overnight the cue, and again, that did not happen. They shipped it 3-day.
When I received the cue, the shaft is warped! Now, I have PM'd this guy 4 times with no replies. At what point do I leave negative iTrader? He has a 1 rating at present, but will not respond to any of my PM's.
While we were negotiating, he always responded timely, but now...nothing.
Looking for advice from some more experienced AZers out there.
I've sold on eBay for years and have a 970+ feedback with 100% there. Out of those almost 1000 transactions, I've encountered two issues with not receiving what was described in the auction.
I'm hoping this is out of the ordinary here on AZ and appreciate your comments. Please PM if you don't want to post on the forum.

I did a trade with capefairpool, Rusty, and I could not be happier with what I got, and how the transaction went. Rusty was an all around friendly guy to deal with, always answered my e-mails and PM's very promptly, provided TONS of pics and was more than willing to answer all my questions.
I shipped first due to having no iTrader at the time of the transaction, and Rusty shipped as soon as he recieved my cue. I recieved the cue in exactly the condition described, and am quite pleased with it.
I hope everyone on AZ can have the same experience I had when making a trade/sale here. :thumbup:

I bought a used Jerry Olivier cue from maidenfreak and couldn't be happier with the entire transaction.
He was very prompt with communication and shipping. He provided a tracking number instantly. The cue was even nicer than described. It was insured and packaged very well (he included a nice tube case and joint protectors that wasn't part of our deal). You can't package a cue any better than that.
I would not hesitate to do business with maidenfreak again.

In no particular order...
Quality Cues (Mike Gartland) - It's been a real pleasure dealing with Mike. I've purchased a couple of things from him over the last few months...a Ginacue, and Engles EE case and right now have a deposit on a purpleheart Kikel...soon to be payed off and delivered!!! I'm lucky to live close to Mr. Gartland(just a couple of hours away), and when I purchased the Ginacue...Mike invited me over to pick her up! It was super nice of him to invite me into his home...and try out the Gina, along with others in his collection... Thanks Mike!! You're a great guy and one hell of a seller...Your prices are more than fair, and the products you've provided are top notch! Thanks my friend...more purchases to come :smile:

The cue had a hop with both shafts, so I called Martin, whom was extremely apologetic, and he called Paul Drexler for me and arranged the cue to be shipped to Paul for a refacing of the joint and shafts...which solved the problem and gave me my daily player

Oh yeah i recently did another deal with az's actioncentral. he's a hell of a guy and one of the few people i outright trust. another flawless deal!

Cue arrived with a far from perfect shaft, contacted the guy that ran the raffle, he DID NOT want to take responsibility! He offered me 3 free spots in his current raffle cause he states he is broke and chooses NOT TO REPLACE the shaft. About 90% of the people in his current raffle already paid him so how can he be broke lol! I leave him a bad itrader and he has the nuts to leave me a bad one cause he states i cursed him out on the phone! As you all can see on the raffle i won from him, I am marked as paid and he has my $$$! How the hell does a seller leave a buyer negative itrader when they already have and spent the buyer's money lol! Also he has videos to prove that the cue was straight before he shipped it, but it arrived to me with a far from straight shaft. The cheapskate also skipped on the insurance so i can't blame the post office for the shaft!I believe when i deploy that i am serving the great people that make up this country, it also sucks to know that i'm serving people who are willing scam a military member out of their hard earned dollar! I've contacted mods but no response! Don't really want my $68 back that i was in the raffle for, all i want is a new/straight shaft as the one described in the raffle!

I completely forgot to leave a feedback report for fram6878 (Dee Jay). I traded him an original used 314 for a used OB1. We both had concerns after we each received each other's shafts (so many bad sounding euphamisms when it comes to pool and golf...).
We had a great phone conversation and I think we both came out satisfied with the trade. After a few emails and about a 30 minute phone conversation about the different types of shafts we've tried, he went so far as to offer to send me a new Tiger shaft, just for me to try out to see if I liked how it hit. You don't see that kind of trust from people nowadays (at least not that often)!
I guess what it boils down to is fram6878 went well above and beyond what was necessary and I HIGHLY recommend him when it comes to doing any kind of a deal on this forum, in person, on eBay (etc.).

Purchased from Tom at Recollection Cues back in March of 2010. The transaction was very easy and the cue came right away. Packed well and exactly as he described. Tom was great to work with.
