C J is back

The Wind of Change is about to blow through pool as C J Wiley emerges from an age when the game was interesting to watch.
But Carson J is no dinosaur. He has discovered a further talent as a keyboard ace and has harnessed technology to spread a message like no other leading light of the game's cognoscenti has done before.
The man spent well over ten years away but now he is back with a vengeance. With a host of media material that he has conjured up including the inside scoop on the Earl Strickland and The Million Dollars 10 Racks.
Sales are likely to be enhanced as he eases into the plum role as Team USA Mosconi Cup Captain.

But the Texan entrepreneur is like no other Captain before him. I likened him to The Messiah but he modestly commented "I am CJ not JC"
His nomination by an astute Matchroom Sport has met with much acclaim not only with his Texas Disciples but with a wider public. They are hungry
For success but Cometh The Hour Cometh The Man.
He hopes to surround himself with the cream of US talent particularly the next generation and impose his standards on the Wileys Warriors long after the Mosconi
Cup is over. I hope that he can find time to get on to some strategic TV magazine/ live talk shows where he could expound his views and hopes better than anyone
except perhaps Barry Hearn.
He is so fired up with this new challenge he is almost smoking.
But I see him as a man who can and will make a difference and will put
His Heart and Soul into the MC job

AMERICA is wishing CJ Wiley the best success in this year's Mosconi Cup and so am I!

CJ is a good choice, but reading your BS is a turn-off.

Well if I am turning you off at least I'm not turning you on - perish the thought!!

Alll I am trying to do is maintain an interest in the only pool event that is worth flipping a switch to watch.

If you don't like what I write then vote with your eyes. Bullshit implies that I am giving false information which is certainly not the case.

At least someone values my contribution

pro9dg, Sir:

I have always admired you, amongst your other qualities and experience, for the vivid language and crystal clear opinions - but this one might even make a history of “modern pool” proverbs.

Sorry you seem to feel all the other pool events are of no interest. Some other people have a very different view from yours -- that the Mosconi Cup is a contrived, made-for-TV exploitation of the game and that many other non-team events are far better for pool enthusiasts.

I respectfully disagree with this notion. :sorry:

I think the Mosconi Cup is the most exciting pool-related event on TV, bar none. In fact, I think there are more people who feel the way I do than the other direction. To each their own, though.

Pool could use more people like pro0dg (Doug). I'm glad he's posting on our forum. I enjoy all of his posts, even ones I may have a different opinion on. He's good pool peeps!

Arrogant and Pompus = good pool people

Note that I didn't say I don't enjoy watching the Mosconi Cup. But I do prefer many other events, including many that feature what you call "emotionless robotic players."

Arrogant and Pompus (or even pompous), Well that's a first.
Opinionated and sometimes blunt - I'll own up to those.
But enough!
A forum is a place where opinions should be voiced and Itsfroze is entitled to write what he likes and I don't have to read it/

But I probably will (without comment)!

Rude, troll-like, and totally illiterate (can't spell) ---> anonymous identities

jam,
Most rude, troll-like and totally illiterate people get their just deserves, enventually.

A poster who recently came back to the forum noticed the mean-spiritedness of a few of these posters and wondered why he even came back to the forum.

I'm sure there are HUNDREDS if not thousands who find better things to do than to put up with the likes of these people. THIS IS THE REASON THE FORUM SEEMS TO BE IN A DOWN CYCLE TO SOME.

Can you be a little more negative please? LOL

I would say I'd try but I think probably not. However I said exactly what I
intended and was equally as rude as what ever his name is. As far as who the person is that I was rude to, I could care less, he gets what he serves up
if he doesn't like it maybe he should change his ways. Thanks for your concern!!!
