Okay, Rude Dog's thread got me thinking...never a good thing :)

Based on their posts...

1) Who is the best player on AZB that you think you can beat? Be willing to bet $50 on a race if you meet them face to face.
2) Who is the player you wouldn't want to gamble with?

Since I'm starting, I'll go first -
1) WilleeBetmore - Don't know for sure, but it'd be worth it if I lost $50 to play in that pool room of his in Indy and get in some good 14.1 in the process.

2) Rood Dawg - Anyone who smokes a pipe like that HAS to play good or end up broke in a flop house :D

Cheers,
RC

Prefer not to answer Question 1, but one guy I'd want no part of who posts around here is SouthDakotaKid.

If Gremlin and FL were still around, I'm pretty sure I could beat them two playing scotch and me being my own partner. Other than that, I don't know.

Just make it a requirement that they have to play without talking or they lose, they will never win a game.

I'm not beating anyone here, but......

I'm always up for $50 1-pocket, but 9-ball, i dunno, I lost my taste for that game, probably from playing too many tournaments back in the day. So if anyone wants some easy 1-pocket action, lemme know.....Gerry

Well I'll play anyone of this board for 50 bucks race to 9 at 8-ball.

Provided you get ur a$$ to Shanghai :p

I'll bet it up as high as you want with all the SL 2's and 3's :D

Big John gets my vote too based on the pipe, not to mention 75% of the rest of the board. That is unless John's willing to share ;)
I hate giving money away.

I can tell you that I would kill to play Williebetmore or SJM at 14.1. I would lose but get some valuable info from it, being well worth $50....

Nineball.

I'll play anyone a race to nine in nineball for 50.

There's no one I wouldn't play, and unlike most top players I'll pretty much play anyone just for fun, I'll even impart knowledge on anyone who cares to listen.

I want to support the game the best way that I can and I think helping people to become better players and understand the game more is the best way to do that. Hustling them out of there money is the surest way to demote the game and get them uninterested.

Hey Jimmy,
I know how u play.U can beat all most all the posters here except Rude Dog, keith Mccreedy,Shawn putnam,S.Dakota kid.

Sorry ...

I have gamble, but I NEVER shoot someone for money
without watching them play first ...

Count me in on those $50 sets. 8-Ball or 9-Ball I don't care. I don't play alot of one-pocket but would be willing to learn.....SPF-randyg

PS: This could be fun. I know most of the posters, this is not an easy challenge.

I think I can beat any player on this board at least one set. It is worth $50 for me to try. Any of y'all can try me a race to nine for $50. Putnam, Archer, Bryant, Harriman, Rousey, doesn't matter, all y'all got action for $50. :-))

I'm in...$50 a set with ANYONE, 8 or 9 Ball, 14.1, one pocket or 3C. No snooker...no pointy tip games, HAHAHAHAHA!!

A great answer

I am the same way. I'll play cheap sets and unless I'm in the middle of a workout, I'll play other players for nothing and answer questions too, if it's something I can help with. A lot of people won't do this, but it's nice to see others who will. Keep up what you're doing, it will be good for pool. Sam
