I just bought this item because it compliments my collection of vintage furniture and effects in my pool room. Anyone have any clue about what era this is from, is this a rare piece or is it common, any other info, etc? I've never seen one like this until I happened upon it.

Thanks,

JL

Call Antique Billiards in Colorado Springs and ask for Jim Barber, he's usually there between 11-11:30 am MST, I'm almost positive he has two of em and he definitely has an idea of its value.

Here's the ph #719-597-9809

Sold by Brunswick from about 1945-60.

I've seen them with 1 spindle, 2, 4, and 6. I sold Jim Barber at Antique Billiards in Colorado four of the 4 spindle variety about 8-10 years ago.

No way!!!

That's a real bargain.

I've seen the single barrel sell for over $1k.

Congrats on a great find.

I had two of the single racks....
...I used one as a down payment on a '94 Richard Black.

..I can make a lot more balls with the Black than the rack..:)
