In all my research I never heard his name before that I remember.
A search says he was partners with Cowboy Jimmy Moore in a pool room in Albuquerque and he died March 5th 2011 at 96 years old.

I'm surprised I'm not aware of Fez...I hung around Jimmy Moore's room in Albuquerque
when I was a kid for a while...had met Jimmy in Detroit....he probably introduced me to
Fez....but if I never saw him hit a ball, it made no impression on me...that's the way young
pool maniacs are.

What I do remember seeing was a guy playing money nine-ball with a curled up dollar
bill in his bridge hand...lotta rooms had no AC in those days....
...so the idea of a glove for sticky conditions was bound to happen.
