can the commentators slam the USA more?

Yea, its not going great, but friggin Jim Wyche (sp) keeps slammming the cue technique of the USA players! He is seriously nut hanging on the Euros. He basically just said the Euros stroke is better then ours and they have more "above the shoulders" then we do? WTF dude.....shut up!

Considering this will never be aired in the good ole USA I would think that the slant from the commentators would be directed to be pro Europe... This is after all a Matchroom event and is being shown all over Europe and Asia....
 
Jim is a very nice guy to talk to, but I can't stand to hear his commentary!! He's always been more partial to the European side. I guess it's the Canadian in him!

oh yea, we are getting beat at the moment, but the announcers are supposed to be neutral. Jim is on the bandwagon and hes buckled in tight! :)

I think the whole Mosconi Cup is biased, its put on by a European for the Europeans and favors the Europeans. :p

It probably will air in the USA on Fox at some point.

I noticed the carpet at the USA home venue is basically the Team Europe insignia (blue w/gold stripes).
 
I have found that Jay and Jim have been fair . They can't help that the USA isn't getting the breaks and when they have are blowing it.
Hopefully we get them next year and can revers what has been going on.
We could of used Strickland instead of Putnam.
 
In one of those Mosconi Cup History clips featuring Earl, the announcer on that oldie said-

"If Earl was on a sinking ship, he would spend all his time shooting at the rescuers."

I used to always think that Canadian's were the nicest people. Never heard of you guys having any beef with anyone! But then you gave us Nickelback and I started thinking..."What did we do wrong to deserve this?". I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for whatever it was that we did wrong! You can leave us all of the other wonderful things you have given us, like Shania Twain (My future ex-wife) and Kristin Kreuk (my future, future ex-wife), but please, please take back Nickelback!! We'll throw in Puerto Rico as an incentive. :grin:

Nickelback is from Eastern Canada. I live in the middle of it all.

I went up to Winnipeg in Canada back in 1989 and fell in love with it. Even saw my first hockey game up there. The Jets vs the Calgary Flames. It was awesome. Although I didn't understand why a 6 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon cost $7!! That should only be around $2!
