Yes , pull pin , plug hole re-drill- bore and re-thread . No problem . Jim

I always thought it would be safer to see if the glue would break down by freezing the pin.
Just a thought is all.

Mike, freezing can make things contract quite quickly.
I know this from experience by getting out of my truck in the middle of somewhere and nowhere Minnesota to have a Pee in the winter.
It's like, darn, I knew I had one of these things when I was born, where is it now when you need it.
And thanks for the reminder. I have two shafts to plug tonight so better git down to the dungeon.

I like using a pottery kiln. In 20 minutes I have nothing left to do.
Anyone have one of these? That would be awesome to have

Yes, if it's not centered there are more than one way to fix it. BUT, first let's make sure it's not centered. Are you rolling the cue and determining it from that? Or are you spinning it?, Or are you just looking at the end while holding it? Have a cuemaker take a look and decide. You may not have the problem that you think you have.
