Can we please consolidate some Stickies?

I've always wondered why the 'Fargo' thread was stickied.
Anyway, it's not my place to make suggestions as to how the forum should be run.

This gets suggested all the time. But all those similar rules threads have been there for years.
If they ever do get consolidated into one thread, they should also be LOCKED. A rules thread should be one post only. Simple, to the point rules. Not 20 pages of rules and discussion. When a new rule is added, the single post should be edited by the moderator.

Weve got so many stickies we need another subforum for them. Why not? theres a subforum for everything else.
or consolidate them into 2.
1 for smorg the other for everything else.

I requested Mr Wilson to flag the Fargo Thread. There are some very serious problems in Fargo. Mike is a long time great poster and his pool room could be threatened by the flood. With all of the members here on AZB I thought that perhaps some people from the midwest might go and help. As a group midwestern country people help when they can. They need to know there is an emergency.
If you are in the country and you meet a fool, you probably brought him with you is an addition I would make to a prior post.

I too would like to see some of the stuck threads consolidated. However, they do have their place from time to time.

What Stickies?
There are so many that I don't even notice them anymore. They take up over 1/4 of the page and I just ignore them. I don't even notice any new ones. What would really be neat is if there were 25 more and then the whole page would be all stickies and there would not be any room for the other posts.
It would be ok if it they just stayed on page one but they are listed on every page.
