Can you name the people in this photo?

No, it is actually a recent shot of a Dallas guy that I edited into the old image of Joe Kerr, Earl Strickland, and Buddy Hall. The person who got photoshopped out was Joe Burns, the owner of the pool hall (Forest Park Billiards?) where the tournament was held. Here is one of my favorite shots of Wade Crane since you brought up the name.

Now this Pic is Fantastic. Has Wade seen this?

It could be Gary, Dave. I have not IDed that player. I am sure you will recognize Buddy's opponent in this photo from the same tourney.

Hemicudas, do you know who the opponent is standing at the end of the table waiting his turn? Looks like someone I know

Wouldn't load picture. It from post #30

Yea, Klockdoc. Blackjack, picked him out. It's Keith.

I enjoy photo ID threads, Bill. So rather than starting another one I thought I would let you guys name some of the circa 1979 guys in this photo from the Greenway in Baton Rouge. Some top players are here other than the named, Buddy Hall.

Is that cornbread in the back row above Sigel?

Alst, the only guy I recognize on the back row is the guy standing up in the polyester "Disco Days" jacket. He is a local Jackson guy named Dan Tyner.

Any of you old scuffs remember this monster bar table player? Photo from the same BR tourney.

Who.jpg

Hmmm...

first guess - David Matlock
second guess - Bruce Springsteen
third guess - "Animal" from the Muppet Show
fourth guess - Louie Lemke's brother in law

What do I win?

Just noticed, he does look just like Jim Hinson from the Muppets. But alas, no. It is in fact, "Weird" Billy Weir. The year before this tournament Billy was the big winner in the $20/$40 pay ball game at the Greenway, with top players like Buddy, Louie, Brock, Denny Searcy and Danny Jones in it. Billy could surely play when the formula was correct.
