Can you spot where the "round points" end and the "Sharpee'd points" begin?

Not any of my biz but if anyone can not see that there is something funny with the points then they are blind. You can CLEARLY see the rounded point. I take it all four are like that????

Could this be that someone at Schon did this years ago??

Did Evan look at the pictures or is he going off of memory?

I would think that a full refund with the two guys splitting shipping would be the best solution.

I really hope that theres not a lot of these cues floating around the market.

Years ago I almost bought three SWs from a "friend". Another friend told me to back out that he heard there were a bunch of fakes coming from Texas. The seller had just dome from there so I backed out. He cussed me and told me I was crazy.
Turned a month or so later he was found out and had been selling the SWs at real knowing that they were fake. Nice "Friend" !

I will say this again the cue is an Schon R2 just as listed .
The points were never rounded cnc points . Like I said Evan Clarke told me this on the phone and he told the buyer that in many emails .

I have said I will refund the cue even tho I have done nothing wrong . NOTHING !!! But I will NOT eat the cost of shipping as I sold the cue just as it was discribed .

So if you want a refund send the cue and drop the protest with paypal
If the cue comes back in the same condtion it was sent out then I will send a refund minus the shipping .

I will not issue a refund while you have an open protest with paypal so you can get a double refund .

I have done nothing wrong in the transaction .

Larry

I have read your side to the situation except for your opinions on the pictures.

Whats your thoughts on the pictures?

Thanks

If he's not...an apology would be warranted. :) Ryan..too nice to be a scam artist.

Let me start by saying that I should not have called him a dumbass this was not the first pm when I called him that . We had already went though the whole thing in pm around 5 times and I was sick of hearing this b.s from someone who does not know a Schon R2 from an STL4

My thoughts are the same as KOINKID's on the pictures .
Remember I talked to Even Clarke on the phone he said this cue had not been altered and that he told the buyer this in email . I Even posted Clarkes phone number for anyone who wants to hear it for them selfs .

You either sell here as "all sales final" or you offer a satisfaction guarantee "no questions asked". You have to decide which. You get the cue back, you refund the man his money, including shipping. If he had buyers remorse, you might have a leg to stand on, but it is clearly evident the cue is doctored. Buyers remorse, refund minus shipping, a situation like this, full refund. I have no doubt you would not be satisfied with the cue regardless if it was a certian model. You have an opportunity to do the right thing.

You can get a new schon with stiched joint the name on the shaft tells you it's not a R series82-85 I collect these yours is not a early schon and it was made on a cnc! Ron

Does Evan Clark have the cue in his hands to examine?

While this may be none of my business, it's right here on AZ, so I'm sorry but here is my opinion.

According to the buyer, you called him a "dumb-ass scam artist". Wow! That alone would make me hesitant to buy anything from you, but in fairness to you, the quote was posted out of context. Still, it seems unlikely that he deserved to be treated like that.

I don't know jack about cues but it seems that even all you knowledgeable cue people are working hard to figure out if the sharpied points are "normal" for this cue. Even if it turns out that the cue left the factory like that, it is certainly understandable that the buyer was surprised to see it. Since you couldn't see it in your original picture and since you didn't mention it in the ad, the buyer had no way of knowing.

Sure, if it turns out that the cue was always like that, I guess you could argue that you shouldn't buy a Schon unless you are a Schon historian or some kind of expert. But then, one could also argue that you should have known about it too, and should have anticipated someone less knowledgeable being surprised and upset by it.

You could also argue that refunding his shipping would be going above and beyond. But calling him a dumb-ass scam artist is not good customer relations. I'm sure you're a good guy and have many satisfied customers, but this just looks pretty bad, IMO.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it gets a little tiring coming on AZ and seeing sellers "yelling" at their customers with caps, exclamation points, and a defensive attitude. :(

I will trust Even opinion over yours . He said it is an R2 and never had round points . He also told the buyer this in an email.

What really sucks is someone tried to make the points sharp and they are clearly cnc'd FULL refund +s/h is the only right thing to do! Ron

You seem to be doing everything wrong now though. I'll ask you again, Does Evan Clarke have the cue in his hands? How can he tell unless he does? You should not dig a hole for yourself like this. It looks real bad.

Because you are saying he says it is not doctored but he has not examined the cue personally. You keep saying you will take it to him to have a look. I know I do not need to tell you you can not have it both ways. It really makes you look bad.

Spelling his name wrong is not your only mistake ! I don't have to call Evan I know this is not a R series Schon made by Bob Runde if Evan made it it's not a real R series and it was made on a cnc THIS is FACT not opinion! Ron
