Can you stop shipment on a cue?

I would be more worried about someone that just joined AZB a month ago than someone that has been on the site for a while and may have iTrader rating LOL If whoever you dealt with has been around for a while, has a decent post count and some iTrader rating, don't panic.
I feel you. Just found it odd the guy dropped out of sight after much communication. I just had a cue stolen so not having much faith in humanity currently.

Sent one out yesterday and the guy has not responded since. Don't wanna jump the gun but it seems odd.

Not to sound harsh but it was yesterday. The guy may not be on the net 24/7. Heck I may go a day or two or 3 without calling or texting anyone. Did you send out the Cue beforehand on payment.
I second PoolFan101. After a deal is struck and in process the guy might not have anything to say until the item arrives.

My advise is never ship to a po box and always have signature. That way If you get screwed at least you know where to go to get your stuff back.

doesnt he have a telephone so you can call him. or did you do a deal without even knowing who you are dealing with.
if so then you are on your own risk.

have a telephone and a shipping address to a home and then google the home and take a look at it.

Yes. Spoke with him on the phone and through text , then I sent the cue, then did not here from him all that day and all the next day. Finally talked to him early this morning and he had family issues. If somebody let's me know they sent me something I'm going to acknowledge it immediately. That's how I do it but he had a legitimate excuse.

Welll many of you know me and have delt with me.
I am the gentleman doing the trade and I just lost my sisters husband to covid and have 5 other family members in the hospital. The day after we decided on the trade all heck broke lose and this was the last thing on my mind.
I did contact him and apologize for the delay and all is going forward as agreed.
Have a good day and please all of you stay safe.

Condolences James.

OP,
I am confident you will receive the cue you traded for.
Do you know how to interpret the feedback score of an AZB member?
Tap on their user name or avatar. When the next screen appears, tap it again. On the bottom, there will be a blue column. On the far right are their feedback stats.

To put your mind at ease, give it a try now.....Feel better?

Although there are no guarantees, do this before every transaction here, then proceed accordingly.

Good luck.

I seem to find this mentality only with pool players.
Could do a big comic book deal and it might be a week, no problems.
Here a thread with 2 pages goes up from a new member and I think we all know this isn't a "new" member.

Wrong. Never had any attentions of signing up here until I saw a cue I wanted. Never had a email until I saw a cue I wanted. Never was on Facebook until I saw a cue I wanted.

Please guys give him a break. He was only asking a question.
I took no offense and you should not either.
And thank you to those for your condolences.

And as I said before be safe and stay healthy.

Come on now.

Surely there could be something that would be justification for you not responding immediately.

That something is what the cause was for that dude.

I love you Justin. Please call me?!?!

Nope. In business, which this is, I respond with the quickness. I got a text at 4am this morning about another cue. I was sound asleep. I woke up and responded to the gentlemen.... Nsafellow was totally in the right having said all this. Family is first and I should have taken a back seat. I hate I started this thread because it's a distraction to the real things he has going on in his life. Next time I will just eat a cue before starting a thread. Again, lesson learned.
