My first pool cue was a Dufferin Sneaky Pete, and for such a non-expensive cue, man was I impressed with the hit! These no longer produced Canadian made Dufferin cues seemed to have great quality wood... in the picture you can see 18 growth rings in the shaft. (I think that's pretty good, right?)
This was my 2nd Dufferin, and I had the tip replaced with a Moori Medium and then the shaft tapered a bit to 12 or maybe 12.5mm. I credit the wood for it maintaining a nice stiff hit still though.
Anyhow, I'm hoping to sell it off to add to my new cue fund, so please take a look, comment, PM with offers, etc... I'd like to get $125 USD out of it.
I'm hoping some of you other player can attest to the unusually great hit of these old Canadian made Dufferin cues... To the best of my knowledge, they are no longer made. I couldn't find ANY for sale online or locally to get a price reference, so I'm just pricing it based on what I have in it... not trying to make a fortune, just ready to upgrade!
Oh, and seeing as I'm new around here, I'm perfectly willing to split the cost of escrow if the buyer so desires.

- Moori Medium Tip
- 12-12.5mm shaft (approx b/c I have no micrometer)
- wood to wood joint
- 5/16 x 14 joint pin on shaft (brass insert in butt) - flat (not piloted like newer 5/16 x 14 joints)
- 19-19.5oz (again approx b/c no digital scale)
- 90%+ condition - no dings/dents in shaft or butt - there is a mark on the bottom of the shaft that you can see, but can't feel
- Shaft rolls perfectly straight - Butt has just the slightest lift to it (I know it doesn't affect playing, but trying to divulge everything)
- Really sharp, highly figured wood in the butt - Looks like it's Cocobolo, but not 100% sure
