Cannabis, pool and life

Don't they say like 40 million people play pool every year in this country? Are there really 40 million "pool players" in this country?

You think the people on your list at one time or another smoked weed, or were "weed smokers".

KMRUNOUT

That's what it says on the internet...google famous marijuana smokers. Several lists are available.

PHOENIX – Sheriff Joe Arpaio is putting his foot down when it comes to returning marijuana to medical marijuana card holders when they are released from his jails.

On Wednesday the sheriff made a policy decision, saying those arrested by Maricopa County deputies for a criminal violation who are also medical marijuana patients will not be given their product back upon their release.

Arpaio says marijuana is contraband and that is why he decided not to store the drugs for other police agencies when someone is arrested.

The sheriff says he is aware of rulings in other states that may later make it a requirement for his officers to return medical marijuana to card-carrying patients but will not allow that until a local judge issues an order.

“Some courts in other states have ruled that defendants are entitled to a return of their controlled substances per the Medical Marijuana Act but until my hand is forced, they won’t be getting it back from my deputies,” Sheriff Joe said. “Possession of marijuana is still a federal felony as far I am aware and my deputies aren’t going to violate federal law.”

GO JOE OOH RAH

Alcohol most addictive? Check that one out...there are substances that almost instantly create a dependency...alcohol isn't one of them.

^This^

Opiates are WAY more addictive then alchohol. It is not even close, take an alchoholic and give him some heroin or some oxy's and see how long he lasts or how easy he kicks THOSE drugs.

I think you misunderstood, I didn't tell you to do anything. But you can't compare a positive marijuana high to overdosing yourself. That's why I compared a single aspirin to taking the whole bottle.

Marijuana absolutely saved my life.

man why does everyone jump to the "you don't get it" conclusion. i was just giving you shit, for the need an asprin/weed comparison, bro.

How did weed smoking weed save your life? did you have cancer?

i've always been told that weed wasn't addictive. it's strange to hear people say they go through the DT's from quitting.

GO Joe? i never understood the hostility toward people that smoke weed and the weird idea that weed was some evil substance. weed has done way less damage to people than alcohol ever has. but we let bars stay open that sell nothing but alcohol. i doubt anyone ever bottomed out on life because of weed like people have on alcohol. i don't even think they have an ALANON equivalent for people because of weed.

Is marijuana a felony now? i thought it was still just a misdemeanor. i hear in cali if it's not a lot they just write you a ticket for it.

just realized i meant to quote cocobolocowboy.

after about 6 days of flu like symptoms you'll be fine. kicking opiates isn't that bad. as long as you're not really really overdoing it with them.

Excellent post! I agree completely. How could anyone not?

Johnny law doesn't!!!!!! for some reason the people that make the decisions decided to demonise weed. alcohol the go to drug in the country isn't blinked at twice but weed gets such a bad wrap it's laughable.

one drug makes people lose control and in some cases do violent things to people around them. the other makes people laugh, smile, and want to eat junk food. i think we legalized the wrong one

If anyone thinks the weed today is better than the weed back in the 60's and 70's, they are talking out of their ignorant arse! I guarentee that boys.

Did I say I'm Pro Choice!

the top stuff now and the top stuff then are probably close .. with the edge to modern hybrids... but the biggest difference is the good stuff is MUCH more available than ever.. used to be back in the day you would only find sticky seedless a couple times a year if you were lucky .. now as long as you have the cash you never have to smoke anything else

What about the concentrated THC they offer now?

There is an ungodly amount of stuff to compare to, simply trying all of the types to truly compare would be a daunting task.

http://www.vancouverseedbank.ca/ has alot of strains of stuff and White Widow is one of the cheaper ones they sell. That site shows two things, 1) British Columbia is still the pot capital of North America and 2) there are a boatload of strains being developed and toyed with by alot of people out there.

Not these days.
Don

what do you mean? Widow is the perfect modern hybrid.. 60% indica 40% sativa.. balanced and bred for flavor and potency .. bred from the 10 previous cannabis cup winners.. the first generation widow was only 6 years ago.. this stuff is phenomenal..

nostalgia is nice and all but reality is reality

look you can't smoke the same stuff all the time or you become immune I also like skunk #1, ak-47, and girl scout cookie,

but Widow is my favorite by a long shot

let me qualify one thing.. give 2 different growers the same seeds and you can get a wide variance in quality..

The gardener is everything...The Great Ed Rosenthal can turn rope hemp into dream pot in 2 generations LOL

thats part of why modern pot quality is better.. strains like Widow are designed to be easier to grow so bad gardeners get decent bud more often than they used to.

You obviously have not had the chance to try some of the modern concentrates. Like everything else, there are some that have the resources, interest and time to find the best of what is actually being made.

For example, people with a lot of money and quality cannabis around have actually started producing extracts with a supercritical CO2 system that is around 30-50 grand...hundreds of psi, used in industries such as perfume essence manufacturing.

Clubs in CA sell butane oil and bubble hash that can test up close to 80 percent thc...your white widow has no chance to be half that.

concentrates go against everything pot used to stand for.. I had my first taste of honey oil (Pharm grade THC)back in the 80's.. meh

as soon as you add a chemical process it stops being natural..

I don't even like hash

bud vs bud with top growers.. widow will hold it's own

Im freaking shocked this is allowed to carry on! Az really needs to take a close look at this blatent abuse of a forum, to promote the use of a plant!

PS: Please feel free to see my post looking to trade my grow room for a high end cue!

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
