Your name rings a bell {stole that from Quasimoda}. I will have to look up some of your posts , I can't remember if I hate you or like you, right off the cuff. I do know it's one or the other.
Only one name jumps out at me every time I look on here, and they will definately be the odds on favorite, and extremely hard to beat.
I didn't visit NPR regularly and don't often buy or sell stuff so I doubt its either.

I am ready to be out and about again. I may wear a mask when playing in pool tournaments or going out into public but I am ready to go out. If I catch it, I catch it. I don't want to catch it but I am not going to stop living because of fear of what might happen. I have been following this virus and the pandemic since December. The models were wrong...thankfully. I was all for locking myself and family in the house based on the model projections and knowing what I know about math and how viruses spread. I knew there was still a lot to learn about the virus and the mechanisms by which it spreads, replicates, and causes illness. But, I am very confident that we have therapeutics developed to treat the illness. Soon, they will be widely available. I doubt very seriously there will ever be an effective vaccine. They have not yet been successful in developing a vaccine for SARS or MERS or a host of other viruses. Once there is more confirmation that the therapeutics are successful as in published, peer reviewed, medical publications...I will go back to living the way I did prior to all of this. I am thankful that the shutdowns will be ending sooner rather than later. I was hoping to receive my pool table from Diamond last month but due to the shutdowns I won't get it until their plant opens back up...the table is ready to ship. I thought I was going to be in good shape going into the shutdown as I thought my table would get delivered and installed prior to...I was able to get a home gym setup in my garage and then the table would have been icing on the quarantine cake...damnit. I was just a wee bit too slow on pulling the trigger for the table.
Can we get this moved to the Ask a Mechanic section where it belongs?

Say what you like, but my wife and I have NEVER had flu shots in the last 20 years, and neither of us has ever had the flu!

My wife got the flu shot (twice--second by mistake) and still go the flue ! twice ! this winter.
I never get flu shots and get the flu about once every 5 years.
