I recently had a customer asking if I had a shaft that would fit his cue. Seems he slightly oversanded his...

"Sidepocket always hoped his only son, Sidepocket Jr., would have a love for pool like his dad, but ever since his ex-wife bought the kid a drum set for his
7th birthday, his interest in pool went south."

I have a guy who goes through cues like they were pieces of chalk,
every time he gets a new cue he asks me to take the shafts down to 11.5mm.

But leave the ferrule and tip at 13mm?

He just might want that shaft!

As long as it rolls on the table straight! LOL I had a guy that continued to rub a brown pad up and down his shaft between shots. His shaft was down to 7 mm where he stroked. He even used to break with it. I couldn't believe it never broke on him, but it didn't.

What's the problem? Sure it has a little taper roll, but if you look under it, the light line stays consistent, no wobble.
