I'm glad for Jimmy that he got JR back, safe and sound. I feel sorry for the next guy he plays. He will be on a high for a month.

If his opponent is losing, all he's got to do is say, "You know Jimmy, when Junior was stolen, I said a prayer for his safe return". Jimmy is then toast. :D :D :D :D :D

Resorting to using that tactic is pretty low down.... imo
Doug
( around here, that is known as the "cheeseburger gambit" ) :)

*Or, did I accidently drink some of YOUR beer.

It was the word "toast" that I used that got you all wired up, eh? :p :D ;)

WOW, that gives me some pause.

Did the thugs return the SUV to the place where it was stolen?

Junior was found 15 miles away from where the SUV was stolen.

Jr. was actually found a little closer then 15 miles. It was more like 5 miles or so. The streets that Jimmy told me could have been south Minneapolis or north Minneapolis. I was thinking south when I said 15 miles.

I truly hope the guy that gave the dog back is not the person that stole the car in the first place, or someone who know's who stole the car. I am hopeful the police questioned him & ruled that out.

To iterate,,,,,,,,,,was it stripped?

not to bring this back up, but no, it was not stripped.

his cues and custom case were taken, as well as most lose things in the car, but it is intact. They brought it back across the street from where it was stolen, so maybe they got wind of all the publicity and wanted to bring it back.

saw JR this weekend, and he's looking good

How about some info on Jimmy's cues and such. If someone tries to move this stuff, we could help get these perpetrators nailed.

I am pretty sure Jimmy's case is a Whitten with his name on it. I don't remember the cue though.

Yah it's a wooden one with his name on it IIRC. Also, I believe one of the cues was a Schon...but don't know details

I'll try and get more info from him later this week, maybe he'll even have pics. I'm sure the local pawn shops have been notified and keeping an eye out, and if these are local North Mpls thugs, I doubt they would go farther than that to sell them.

I am so happy for Jimmy and JR! Thanks for all the updates. And I know those prayers helped get JR returned. The holidays certainly look brighter for Jimmy and all us dog lovers on AZB.
