Great shot. Not all that unusual in 1 pocket where an OB is near your pocket and the CB is below it somewhere near the short rail. Hard draw the shot in with inside english, hit the long rail next to the OB, then across the table above the opposite side pocket and three rails back down table to your opponent's side where you have more shots.

No. There are no "cushion" requirements in any of the balkline games, and in one-cushion there are no "zones".

That does sound like fun, but I will need BIH for that one shot.

Honestly, we have a better chance of getting together at my house, though my big screen is not viewable from the pool table. And I keep forgetting that I do not own the vids yet!

Plus, I haven't played an hour of pool since our last get-together, so my motivation to head south is pretty low.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

So do people still play "one rail billiards", in tournament settings? I'm simply trying to assess CJ's claim that Efren is the best that ever was in "one rail billiards". Excuse my ignorance concerning billiards.
 
Some nice spin on that ball, I've shot that type of shot before, with a 10% sucess rate hehe, but the object call was on the rail or close to it when I tried it. Alex was smiling after the shot it was so good.

This was on the Kinister Workout part 2 tape, don't remember which shot number, but after I saw it I tried it a few times.
