finally someone is looking after this.last year you would wait for 2 days to see who won ,it was brutal.
 
I noticed this

I am assuming that the numbers to the right side of the players name are the number of games won in the set. If that is correct they either have the number of games wrong or have advanced the wrong player in the match between Anna Kostanian 3 and Angel Paglia 9 in the winners bracket chart. I see they have the correct name in the 1 loss bracket.

score was wrong,winner was right.
 
Wow, some squeakers and some upsets already! There are a couple new gals I have not heard of, Nicole Albergaria and Irene Henry. Anyone know them?

Hsin got beat hill-hill by Irene Henry. Sarah Rousey eked out the win against Pam Treadway and Miyuki got beat by Nicole Albergaria.

Our own Kim Jones lost double hill to Janet Atwell :( , and Joanne Ashton lost 9-5 to Ewa.

Surprising me was Morgan Steinman over Alice Rim and Stacy Hurst over Belinda by a fair margin. Good luck to all the ladies!

That's Nicole Mancini's new name. Irene Henry i am clueless on though i have seen her name somwhere recently.

Ahhhh, thanks. I guess I knew that, considering we both sat and watched her play in FL. :p
 
Pamela Treadway took some tough beats, losing two matches on the double hill. At least the young lady is out there in the trenches with the rest of the pros. It's heartbreaking to lose on the hill like that, but it will only toughen her up for the next time. She is a real trooper, and she'll be back! :)

Not to much of a surprise on the 8 on the winners side. this final 16 single elim sucks. I can't believe that the players want it that way. Johnnyt

The WPBA has a picture up on its Highlight page that says its Ga Young Kim. I don't believe it is. Johnnyt
 
Irene Henry

For those of you asking, Irene Henry qualified through the Jacoby Great Lakes Tour. She's a solid shot and very personable! Check out the tour website through AZ. She played through a really tough field at Janet Atwell's new room in Bristol last month! I know that all the ladies on tour are hoping she does well against the pros!
