Cars / Cues in Avatars, is it yours?

The cat in the picture is a Maine Coon and she belongs to me and my wife. When she was 6 months old she broke her leg and had a lot of complications. I spent 4K on - I thought it was the right thing to do. She walks with a little bit of a limp but is a great cat. I should change the avatar one of these days because she has a sister.

Sadly the economy forced the sale of the 63 K code Fairlane I used to own. I don't have enough time to keep current pictures of my playing cue in my avatar. The lathe and kid in my avatar are mine.

Don't feel to bad about me having to sell the Fairlane. I still have a 65 A code Mustang fastback and 66 S code Mustang Fastback!

Mine is of how beautiful STL can look even with all the bs going on I do have few race cars not sure if u guys would like them lol to the others u have some nice cars

Geez Phil. Come take me for a ride. That is serious cool.

The guy in my Avatar used to be, or at least think he was not a half bad pool player.

Not quite so sure about that any more. I am pretty sure that he never learned to drop his elbow.

Will you eventually regret selling that Phil. Unfortunately, something like that doesn't work where I live. The roads and even highways are in such a state of disrepair.

Short driving seasons. Most of us economical guys have 4x4's. Fishing, hunting. Gotta be able to get thru all the snow. Mine knows where all the Canadian Moose live. And also, knows where the Off Sales are located.

My avatar is my son pitching last summer in a baseball tournament (9/10) level.
As it says ''my pride and joy'' hopefully major league someday, I got my fingers crossed.

Doug,

If you're not a cat person, you wouldn't understand. Missed 2014 SBE as my eleven year old former stray cat had a problem related to his diabetes. Sometimes you have to put things in perspective. My cats mean more to me than a game of pool. Obviously you feel the same. Cheers.

Lyn

Oops, the striped one.

He can throw pretty hard, but I`m trying my best to get him to fully load up & let it go. He has a strong arm, but is still at the age, where when dad says throw the heater buddy, he just doesn`t let it all go.
Thanks for the comment busboy. Old dad is trying to convince an 11 yr old to throw some smoke. LOL

Our "Garfield"...picked up along with his brother at a local no kill shelter. No purebred, but he has a lot of Maine Coon looks and personality...very loving guy despite weighing 20 pounds. His brother looks nothing like him, and is the hell raiser of the two. Yeah, we spoil our cats...but they deserve it. His brother is "Snowball"...just the names they had at the shelter.

I'd say your $4K was well spent...the purrs you get are great payback.

The cue in the avatar is mine, owned it since it was new and ordered directly from Tim himself.

This thread will soon be "cat stories" We "had" 3 cats, one from a co-worker when he moved, another from a neighbor and one that one of my older daughters rescued from behind her work when they saw some kittens living around the dumpster.

My youngest daughter decided to feed a cat this fall, she looked like she used to have a home, was pretty clean and would come up to you. She ended up sitting in our laps on the porch when my wife and I sat out and chatted / had wine/beer. We took her to the vets and turns out she was pregnant. So then the wife started to look into building her a shelter, box, plastic bin, etc... I finally said, why not just let her in the house and see if she stays OK with us? We did, and that new cat would fight with ours all the time, must be from living on the streets and having to fight other animals. She was great with people though, just not the other cats.

We kept her locked in our bedroom for months, she finally gave birth to two kittens. We found her a home and also one of the kittens went to a home. The second kitten was born with a paw issue, we kept that one to take care of her.

This winter in MA broke the snow record, I am pretty certain if that cat stayed outside with her kittens they would not have survived, so my little girl saved their lives by feeding the mother and us taking her in.

The family that took in one of the kittens named the kitten after my daughter, Abigail.

My Avatar

My avatar is my two siamese cats, Yueng, and Ling (Yuengling like the beer).

They are guarding the Dr. Pepper, that I needed to get for Glen (RKC) after he redid my table. The day before two neighborhood snots, stole his six-pack of Dr. Pepper out of his truck.

The boobs are gone, long live the boobs...

I dumped the busty lady in my former avatar, she just wouldn't quit holding up the line at the grocery store.

Today my avatar is Utley J Puckett in suit and tie, well-groomed and taking a shot seriously sometime in the Sixties or earlier. I acquired the photo somewhere on the pool internet. He was an oft-smiling man of great charm and hustling ability whom I had the good fortune to know slightly in the early 70s when he occasionally frequented the Golden Nugget pool hall on 7th Street in Fort Worth, TX. When I knew him he had wild white hair bursting out from under a round white cowboy hat, and at that time he seldom played but he was still a force in the pool room.

I was thinking of a pet avatar, but with 7 cats, three dogs, and a Red Eared Slider turtle (and only 160x160 pixels available) it is a hard choice.
