Hi,

I just purchased my pool table and was watching an old pool tournament on tv with Efren Reyes on Youtube. So this old commercial comes up and I saw the product "Chalk Off".

Is Chalk Off a good product ? Any newer products like chalk off that has replaced it ?

Thanks for your time..

Yes i remember it " Chalk off the complete pool table cleaner, Chalk off, Chalk off, Chalk off"
That commercial was pretty irritating

Vacuum the table before using a spray cleaner. Get all the chalk dust off the cloth that you can.

I like quick clean better than chalk off. It is amazing how it cleans and brings back the color of the cloth.

Spray it on and immediately wipe it off with a micro fiber towel.

You only need to use it once a week or less.

You are better off vacuuming first then use a damp microfiber towel to wipe down the cloth.

The simonis cleaner seems to be the best cleaner I have found, very easy on the cloth, and does a great job

Thanks everyone ! Nice to meet you all and excited to learn more here.

This is what we used to do at my last job. Also was told to always use bottled water, because our tap water was 'hard' and would leave spots. Not sure if that part was true or not.

Also start at the head and work one direction down to the foot rail. Again, not sure if that made any difference...but it looked really nice when done. :)

Ive watched like every Us Open match BCN offers on youtube and it seems to be on every one. As far as it goes being a good product I dont know (but its doubtful).

Bought it a few years back but never used it. Started to read the ingredients and such and thought it was not worth it to even use it... can't recall what it was but I could take a look unless someone else remembers...

if you ever decide to use some cleaner on your table it would rather be Quick Clean. Some time back there were posts saying Chalk-Off is no match to it.

I have been using chalk off for a few months now and it seems to do it's job ( after a good vacuum).

Thank you and have a great week.
