Chang potted 100% and Ko only hada push out, a safety and a 14.1 break to play

Sorry but anyone know what cue Chang played with? He played SWw before and recently switched to this. Looks like a Lambros to me :)
 
It's the stroke not the cue...and you can't BUY the stroke. He probably could do the same thing with a Cuetec R-360. Johnnyt

When Jung Lin is in stroke he is hard to beat.
Almost decade ago when there was Asian tour, he was quite dominant.
He will be one of top favorite for the coming MP World 10 Ball later this month. :D
 
He ran the last 5 racks (10 ball) in Vegas (BCA 2014 event) to beat Shane already. It was a race to 21... Shane was up ...then he didn't get up. The brothers (young guy in the above video) were there as well. Things are moving to the East... The far East.

It is a Lucky cue (Japan), l think Rodney Morris is also playing a Lucky cue right now...

If it is a semifinal match of the Taiwan pro championship, I wonder why it is played in a location with such limited seating for spectators. Is the sport unable to attract spectators in Taiwan?

It's interesting that one of the two disciplines is 14.1. What do they do if one player wins the 10-Ball and the other player wins the 14.1?

How often is such an event played? With such short races, could it be a frequent thing rather than a big once-a-year event?

Chang -- super play. He missed the position he wanted a number of times, but always recovered nicely.

Ko -- lost 2 lags, pushed once, played a bad safety (or was it a missed 1/9 combo? Safety, I'd guess.), and played a bad opening safety in the 14.1. Otherwise -- just sat there for over an hour.

Did the scorecard girl add or detract from the presentation of the event?

Ratings for pool on Taiwan TV dropped so less popular than during Yang era. I think the pipeline output of youth talent is much less than before . Example: World Junior Champion last year was not from Taiwan.
BTW pool is not top sports compared to other sports in Taiwan. Basketball (Linsanity), baseball,golf more popular

Yes the young scorecard girl would distract young Ko more than Chang. IMHO, Chang JL has one of strongest mental game of the Taiwan players- hard to distract him LOL

Some people, myself included, just like cues. Pretty much all of us know they're not going to make us play better. All you upstanding citizens who feel the need to educate someone on the Indian and arrow concept ANY SINGULAR TIME there is any mention of a cue, give it a rest. Take a nap. Easy now. We all know Shane plays with a Cuetec. Take solace in the fact that it's been said a million times before and will be said a million times again and you don't have to be the one to say it this time.

And while I'm on the subject, I'll just keep the tirade moving and say this applies to all you ivy leaguers who incessantly demand use of the search function when someone asks a harmless question.

Nice snarky response. What's wrong with the R-360. SVB seems to do pretty well with it.
