Thanks for posting the show.

But it really highlights why pool is such a difficult sell: even the game's top players couldn't explain a simple game like straight pool. It's not that they're dumb, it's just that no one ever taught them how to explain something.

If I wasn't already interested in pool, I'd have switched channels after the first minute. And I sure the producers of the show saw their ratings falling by the minute.

So I suppose this was a promotion for the 2000 US Open 14.1 at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. I noticed that the table had "Blatt Billiards" prominently displayed.
