Some of my friends watch the game and they told me he is playing very slow. I didn't watch the game.

He always plays slow. So slow it can become a problem for the other player. Some times it's hard to stay it.

he was playing freaking slow! i went to the bathroom and back, he's still at the same ball! i was was reading BD in between his shots and im done with the magazine after 1 rack..! but he did make some very good shots and came up with good safety.. it wasn't worth the wait though..

Don't think he'll ever be the best but if he works REAL hard he might become the sloooowest

I watched his game against R Yang and he is painful to watch. It's like he is not sure what he wants to do, and when he do it, he missed his long thought plan. He is a pro, he should have experienced loads and loads of trick shots to make him a bit faster.

Charlie's slow play will put anybody to sleep, including his opponent, and that's probably one of his tactics. I'll do anything too just to win, but I will
suggest that they include a shot clock for next year, 2 minutes for every shot would suffice...

Ted Lerner had the line of the day on Charlie's match with Yang. He said something about not needing a shot clock, but instead needing a calendar.

Man, I wanted to gouge my own eyes out watching him play. I can't imagine how Ricky Yang must've felt......

I was watching both William Vs Ricky matches and Yang Chin Soon Matches. William matches were half way through when Yang matches started, and Yang Chin Soon matches finishes way before William's matches finishes.

William will go to his seat to wipe his shaft before every shot. Ricky must have been mentally disturb by the way William plays..

I think i am gonna steal that one.

I'd like to see any one of you try and beat him in a match. I played him in Chicago & he played at a fast speed & still ran out racks. All the criticism, but not one of you would put up a money game against him.

thing that gets me is that in the Mosconi Cup, he played pretty solid at times and still had to do it within the stop clock. He did pretty well then.

Is this his normal playing speed these days???

There has been discussion of implementing a 45 second shot clock next year. Too many matches were taking far too long. We had Races To Nine that were well over two hours, and Races To Ten near three hours. They should all be finishing within an hour and half, or hour and three quarters at most. Hey, this is Winner's Breaks! Meanwhile Alex's matches last less than an hour.
