Your boy Parker saw Charlie Williams at a random casino trying to get nine ball action at like 4 am. It was bizarre.
 
Scotty Townsend went to Orlando to play a young Charlie when he was 20-22 and not yet top name. Scotty gave him the last 2 and they played 12 hours and Charlie won $5000. Charlie offered play him even next day on the same tight table , Scotty said no thanks.

asked some friends about Charlie's younger gambling days, I heard Bobby Hunter and Mark Gregory also came down to play him in FL years ago around same time. They both didnt get there
 
Charlie plays good enough to beat anybody on any given day>The problem is he is such a jerk that everyone wants to slap him just like Corey did. I know 2 room owners in FL that would prefer he never show up at their tournaments.The guy wouldnt bet a dime water was wet and he walks around like everyone should bow to him.Hes one player that could disappear of the scene and nobody I know would even ask where he was.To bad hes got talent.

I think Charlie is in the top 20 of american players. Ive never heard of him gambling high stakes but I think at the next big event that hes in, we should go ahead and back some of these opinions with some money on the matches. I like Charlie to beat 60-70% of the players listed in this thread.

Bennett came down to FL and Charlie gave him a small spot and beat Bennett fast. This was several years ago.
He also played Watson and beat him out of $10k in a few hours.
Think its fair to say though its not well advertised, CW was def a strong for cash player. (and maybe cuz he is more of a businessman than player in last several years and doesnt want it advertised)

yes I saw that one too. about 8-10 yrs ago(time flies!) They had $20k posted and Corey was dying to quit and CW got in a debate with him and said he couldnt. Corey was up a few games, and as soon as coin got even Corey unscrewed and ran off with his $ becuz he knew he was in a trap. me and Nick Varner were sidebetting on Charlie. Nick told me CW was stealing!
