China open now,

Dennis Orcullo (PHI) is 2 games away from the finals, leading Chang Yu Lung (TPE) 9 games to 6...

This looks great, wish I could watch in person. How depressing though, a big stadium full of empty seats. The production values are great, they even got pool carpeting for god's sake. What's the time difference, 24 hours? What are all the pool fans doing at 11 pm on a sunday night, that they can't drive to this venue and watch dennis orcullo?

I think it's 10:48 am local time. If this was held in Taiwan, Japan or the Philippines, I bet you it will be jam-packed, but it's the China Open, so... :p

handshake

when they shook hands they gave me the impression they have a different way of shaking hands. Dennis seemed like he knew how to do it.

They have some pretty cool commercials. It looks like Lay's offers a pepsi-fried chicken wings flavor over there.

Please keep posting, gentlemen.
Saturday night is difficult for me...I was stealing a signal for a while...
..but I lost it.

Looks like it's going to be Kelly Fisher vs. Doudou Zhou in the finals on the women's side.

It will be Dennis Orcullo vs. Lu Hui-Chan in the final, after Chan
edged out Yukio Akagariyama, 11-10 in the other semifinal match.

The televised Men's Final is approximately 2 hours from now...
