So I'm watching Niels Feijen vs Ronnie Alcano at the Derby City Classic Big Foot 10 Ball Challenge when I see Niels hit what the announcer calls a "Circle Draw." I'm pretty sure I heard Bert Kinnester describe a shot similar to this as "just low" but DAMN there's a lot of action on that ball ! Haven't had the chance to try it myself as yet. Can't wait to get to the table !

I also noticed that the more I watch Niels play the better my stroke gets.....WEIRD !!!

It didn't hit quite as spectacular as the normal circle draw shot (by Mike Massey), but it was in the same ballpark. I'm glad he did shoot the shot because people wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about.

Semih is probably my favorite player of all time.

I know the things he does with 3c have a lot to do with the weight and size of the balls along with various other things but it is still magical.

I believe that Niels spent some time with Bert early in his career and used one of his Widowmaker cues.

glad to see this thread. I didn't get the reference either when watching the video. I've seen several variations in 3 cushion.

Unless you are playing on a table with fresh, fast cloth like Simonis, and a really clean cue ball, the cue ball almost has to jump slightly to execute this shot.

The one Neils shoots from the 10 ball match only requires about 1/2 the stroke it normally does, because of the lively rails on a Diamond. Tommy D.

I didn't realize that was you doing the commentary. You and JR do a hell of a job. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Keep up the good work !

That Deuel shot is one of my all time favorite shots ever... doesn't get any prettier than that!
