CJ WIley Playing John Schmidt

my GOD i hope this is a joke... anyone that spends 275-500 on a pair of shoes has WAY to much money and (IMO) is an idiot for wasting that much money on shoes...

An idiot, maybe, but I only wish I had WAY too much money.

I'm going to take a moment and explain something to you woim. And it goes like this. When you clean up the environment, people act accordingly. That's human nature. If you build a real nice poolroom, most people will realize it is a place to dress nicely when they go there. If you put on a high class tournament, players will dress appropriately as well.

Did you happen to go to any IPT events? The players were playing in nice venues for significant money (at least they thought they were). They all looked good, dressed to the nines.

If you have a poolroom or a tournament that is held in a run down poolroom or lower quality hotel, players will also dress accordingly. Again, that is human nature.

Just remember, if you think of something first, it becomes your responsibilty. So from now on, you are responsible for how the players look. It is up to you to make sure they all look good. You may have to cut loose of some of the millions that you use to buy your clothes, and buy a few things for players who are not so well heeled.

I for one, would appreciate seeing how you dress on a daily basis. Perhaps a few photos of yourself in your thousand dollar ensembles would be a motivating factor for other players to see.

Jay, I'll nominate you as the fashion expert here. So, I ask you...is it okay if I make this post while wearing shorts, T shirt, and LL Bean camp mocs?
;) ;) :D

oh yea... and 1500 for a nice custom "high end" cue??? have you been drinking?

I don't make it a point of buying shoes that cost that much, but I do have at least 6 pairs that cost over 275. 4 of them are golf shoes but I don't think it makes someone an idiot for buying shoes that cost that. I think its stupid to pay $250 at the salon, but my wife does it every time she gets her hair cut.

What's with all the off topic chatter?

2 1/2 pages dedicated to original topic, 3 1/2 pages to pool attire and bashing.

And then you wonder why pro pool cannot go mainstream.

my thoughts exactly... i love how the rail beaters always find a way to slam a player...

and by the way, John ALWAYS is dressed nicely... i believe he is known as one of the best dressed in the sport.

I was thinking the same thing. It's nice way to chase them all away from the forum. Who wants to login and see people criticizing virtually anything about them. Senseless to me.

as far as im concerned its just more much to do about nothing! if im gambling pretty high i want to be comfortable and i honestly could give a damn about what my opponent is wearing.as long as he is clean and doesnt stink:( then its all good.but hey if you want to wear a button up long sleeve shirt and tie, some gators and a matching kangol in the middle of summer then go right ahead.i hope we play like a 9 hour session:cool:

I think players should be required to dress like GANGSTA THUGS in a similar fashon to Scott Frost.

Question #1: Why would CJ play John S even? It was like watching a train wreck... so horrible, yet I couldn't look away!

Question #2: When is a Dallas player going to actually WIN against an out-of-towner at 9-ball? We seem to do pretty well at 1-pocklet, but I feel sad and alone after watching David and now CJ get fisted recently... :(

me and a few others tried to tell zach a long time ago when he started calling people out and woofing at these champions.calling corey names and talking smack to him.look what cb did to david g and they dont think corey giving him the 7 is a heist? gmafb.im glad they gamble good down there but i wonder about the match making.

I did everything I was told to do...People came and some of us lost, but I had nothing to do with the matching up...Corey and Gabe came through town to play golf, but didn't play David and never returned his calls...of course I don't think Corey would want any part of him after David beat him getting the 8, but heck that was seven years ago...we still want action...we're players not quiters

never called Corey a name stop making up shit
you damned sure did and i dont "make up shit".i wasnt taking a jab at you zach.i know you just want to make action and i respect that.i just said that getting online and woofing was out of line, and it is.

FYI for every one I said and quote..."More Puss Excuses" about not coming to Dallas...which none of those guys did so I was right...Chris and John stepped up to the plate and beat us...if it's so easy go ahead and make a single file line.... we'll play everyone.....I never specifically called anyone a pussy...and my puss excuses was directed towards an individual on here not Shane, Corey, or Jesse...At least Shane called me, but he won't play unless someone plays him even...
