I will be in the Cleveland area Wednesday through Saturday, and wondered where the good rooms are. Anyone wishing to hook up to shoot some, or get a lesson can PM me. Thanks for your help.

There is Northfield Billiards on Route 8. Take Aurora Rd (Macedonia exit) east of I 271 to route 8, go north about 2 miles. On the right.
There is Winners Billiards, on top of Holiday Inn out at the Airport. Just south off of I77. Leil Gay used to be House Pro and play out of there.
There is another billiard room in Brooklyn, can't remember the name. Ralph Carnes was house pro there if he is still playing.
River City Billiards in Loraine, west side of Cleveland past the airport, Leil Gay has a high run of 326 in straight pool there. On Loraine Blvd.
As the the other Gentleman stated, There is two Jillian's. One in the flats, the other off Cedar Road.
There is a pool room in Bainbridge, called Chagrin Valley Billiards, may not be open, but was in 1998. Had some good action there.
There is a pool room named Sharkey's, at the corner of S.Green rd and Cedar Rd.. Just about halfway between I-271 North and downtown Cleveland.
Rack and Roll Billiards on Mentor Ave. in Mentor, North East side of Cleveland. Out I-80. A guy named Tommy Harwood used to play out of there. Pretty good player. I know he ran 17 on a billiard table!
Of course, Starchers, Now Action Billiards, in Akron. Right off Route 8. South side of Akron. If you're looking for action, this is probably the place to find it.
I think Diamonds , outside of Akron is now closed.
There is another pool room in Talmadge, I thought it was also called Action Billiards, guy named Doc owns it. They have a lot of action that carries over fom the old Starchers. Lot of good players in there. If you need action, it doesn't take long for them to show. All gold crowns. It is off Route 8, just after Cuyahoga Falls on Talmadge Avenue, west. If you get to the circle, you went about 1/2 to 3/4 miles too far.
There is several other pool rooms around the area, but I just don't think they are worth mentioning because of the action factor. Not because they are not good rooms.
No pool rooms in Cleveland? I guess he just didn't look around.
Good Luck. Hope you do well. There is a lot of great players up there. Best I have seen in one area.
Oh, yeah, do't forget Blackies up in Sharon, PA. Only about a hour drive east on toll I-80.
