Since my eye accident, I often beat players that shoot better than me. I do it by being smarter. Playing smart is more valubale than having a consistent stroke, However playing smart with a consistent stroke is even better. Playing smart with a good stroke and good eyesight is probably the best. Oh well 2 out of three ain't bad, I guess.

Oscar Dominguez plays smarter than any pro that I've seen. With ball in hand, I once saw him take almost 3 minutes to line up an easy 2-9 combo (2 ball a foot from the 9 ball, 9 ball a foot from the pocket) because he wanted to make sure he left the cue ball safe. It was an eye-opener for me.
That would be an eye-closer for me :wink:

I was trying to point out that he had a backup plan for something that most of us would take for granted. That he had thought through possibilities that most of us wouldn't have considered.
