I started this batch of cues at the end of summer! I've spent most of my summer racing moto cross trying to relive my youth! What a summer it was,I ended up second overall in the senior nationals. Cue making is my true passion,I truley love cue building, the little time off has made me stronger, healthier and even more passionate about building cues. So enjoy these pictures. The next batch is in the works, mitered boxed veneers, full spliced stuff, SUPER SICK I will post pics. Check out the pic of me at the nationals this year,Cue makers do have lifes i guess. Darrin Hill

Some nice looking cues, i like the segmented coco bem, i like all but that one is especially nice

Great looking cues Darrin! can you post a picture of that ebony cue so we can see the whole cue.

That segmented (cocobolo?) handled cue looks amazing!!!!!!!!

What class did you compete in Darrin, 500cc?
You don't need me to tell you to be careful. I grew up working in a Kaw and Honda dealership. I also rode the Wall of Death for many seasons as well.
I think it would be fair to say that most people don't know that Moto X is the most grueling sport there is and it takes a serious athlete to make it.
They just think you're a motorcycle rider.
Most people wouldn't have the stamina to make it around a track once at 15 to 20 MPH.
Beautiful cues as usual!

a whole bunch of nice work, darrin!
hard to resist clicking on the title of the thread!

congrats on the motocross finish!
love that stuff but my knees leave me hobbling around for a couple days afterward . . .
it's a young guys sport! ; )
is that a the future no. 1 supercrosser on the saddle in your avatar?

no doubt cue makin' is a lil' bit easier on the joints!

Darrin - your cues are always fantastic.

I applaud you on your health program, biking, jogging and racing. Wow, now thats what I call a program.

Your right, being in good health especially when the years start to add up is whats its all about.

Not many of us - me included have the ambition to make it a reality, its tough, and thats why I applaud you. Good job !!!

Love the picture of you on the bike, great action photo - dosen't get any better than that.

I have one of me at Freddie Spencer's Racing school in Vegas that was taken in 1997- I was 50 then, I still love looking at it, dragging my knee through a corner. You have one from now - how cool.

Congratulations Sir - Keep up the good work !!!

They will for sure all move quick and no doubt about it, the segmented coco with the "i think" recut points looks amazing.
Congrats on some super nice cues.
