Mike Cochran ebony 6pt with Mike's interpretation of propellors inlayed. Inlays of ivory and mother of pearl to lazy to count how many. Ivory butt and joint (with phenolic inner sleeve). 2 full shafts with 7/8" ivory ferrules weighing 4.25 and 4.28 oz. Cue is chalked but good as new. $old

Tim Scruggs 6 points ebony & ivory. Joint, butt and ferrules also ivory. 2 shafts. Cue has a thinner butt than the usual Scruggs and instead uses Mike Cochran's own taper by request. Cue is used but in excellent condition. Awesome player. $old

Sugartree by Eric Crisp. Plain jane with an awesome piece of maple that has both birdseyes (and lots of it) and curls with a purpleheart handle and brown phenolic joint and butt. There are 2 natural imperfections in the maple butt (sugarmark?) on opposite sides as seen on the pic around an inch long. The marks do not take away from the beauty of the cue IMO. 2 full shafts with original superpro tips. One shaft has the brown phenolic that matches the joint and the other shaft has ivory colored phenolic. I got both the same time and not added on later. Made in 08 cue was chalked for test hit only. Very stiff. $850

Early 1900's Brunswick Balke Collender conversion by Andy Gilbert. Ivory joint and horshoe inlays in the butt, brass rings, brown leather wrap. Cue is used with bluing of one shaft. Other shaft is in excellent condition. No palpable nicks or dings in the butt. $old

Beautiful Maple and purpleheart BHQ with veneers of maple, blue and black. Comes with 2 shafts with one being a Tiget X shaft. $425Pending

nice cues!

pm sent on the bhq and gilbert....
any chances of getting some of the horseshoes flipped over?

I think the horseshoes look great facing alternate. I will take close up pics and post them by tomorrow. I dont know how Andy was able to drill the holes for the nails theyre so small. You can see the wood through the holes.

Yeah, but if they are down the luck falls out! This is one of my favorites.

2 more.

McDermott model G705. Comes with the I2 shaft. Used briefly still in more than good condition. Has a mild shaft wobble but tip does not lift. Had it rewrapped with cork and feels nice in the hand. Invested $865 in the cue but selling for $415.

The Scruggs is a monster.

This Tim Scruggs Custom Cue was ordered to compliment John's Cochran Cues having the same tappers through out. The best of the best. Built in 2009?
I was offered this cue. I didn't think it was right to accept the low price. It isn't my cue to make money on. It is this fine gentleman's. And he isn't making. He probably could. Not his nature.
An Ivory Joint and Buttcap Veneer cue was $2700.00 at the time this cue was ordered. This Cue is a couple bills over that and then some.
You are very kind Mr. John.
Nick :)

$700 for a Gilbert with ivory joint and two shafts has to be about the lowest price I have ever seen on here. PM me with info.

cochran

i saw this cochran being built at scruggs' shop. I wish I could have gotten my hand on one of his cues.. he was a great guy.
