Complete Fullsplice Build step by step

The fullsplice, there is allot to be said about the fullsplice cue. I think of it like a classic muscle car. It looks good and it's very tough. Building a fullsplice cue is no easy task, as it took me years to learn the methods used. I am going to take you through the steps of building a monster 8 point fullsplice cue with veneers on all points. The woods that will be used will be Ebony, Saple, and spalted maple. The techniques used to build this cue are a very old-school traditional style. I just wanted to show people how much work goes into building one of these cues. I will put a brief description above each picture. There are allot of pictures so follow along.

Full Splice

Thank you for the awesome post with the wood porn! Great education on all the work that goes into a full splicer. I really like the butterfly in the handle area. Nice unique touch. Great stuff.

More than a day no longer than a year! honestly about a month I took a bunch of light cuts after i got it together . the wood was planed and sat around for years.

Thanks for posting, most people may it be if they are into pool or cue's or not do not even have a clue what goes into makeing cues. If average people knew or seen this they would have a different outlook about pool or cues. My wife always act like (BIG DEAL A PEICE OF WOOD) I showed her this post and at least now she has a little better understanding of my addiction. Thanks for posting and showing a little bit of what goes into a actual cue. I appreciate it and Im sure others do<<ED
