Condolences to RKC

That's great to live that long, just as long as she's not bed ridden, because that's no life. My mom lived alone as well, but I've been living here at my shop since May, so I've had lots of time with her, but it still don't make it easy, I have to move now because the property is going to be sold, so I'll really be homeless then.

You'll make it, Glen... keep that in your mind. You'll make it.

I swear, there should be some kind of laws put in place to keep moms from being such pack rats, when someone else has to come in and try to sort everything out after their passing!!! What a nightmare!

keep it simple, Glen.
it was only important to her.
you know what is/was important to you/yáll.

No, you don't understand dear...LOL, we cleaned out one of the drawers in her bedroom and found over $15,000 in cash....and her jewelry, it's hidden all over the place. Just when you think is something wrapped in tinfoil in the freezer....and you're not sure you want to see what's inside....it's another stash of cash...LOL....so, you can't trust throwing anything out before you go through it ALL and that's just in the house, still have the attic the go through....and God forbid...the detached 2 car garage that only has room for one car to park in because it's so packed in...LOL

:rotflmao1: you're kinda describing me.... :ignore: it's what we do, as mothers. see how that works - she got the last word in! she wanted to ensure, that you remember her.... (and that's a good thing)

live,
love,
laugh.

Been right there, brother! What's with that?... newspaper articles from 20 years ago, old appliances that don't work, important stuff squirreled away somewhere. When my mom passed, we were getting rid of her old fridge, found two of the dreaded tin foil packets... must've been in there for years,
5K in each one with a post-it on each one, saying "save"...

Glen,

Our deepest condolences .

We also have been thru this ...

Seems we have arrived at the life takes more than it gives part of life and nothing makes it any better...

Prayers for you and your family sir..

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, I'm glad you got to spend time with your mom this year.

Take good care,
Ted

I've been home now since May of this year until now, that makes it the longest chance I've had to spend time with my mom in the last 15 years, so I am grateful to have been able to share her very last moments and seconds with her, so I feel good that she didn't pass on alone or with someone she didn't know.

Amen, brother.

I hate to say it, but between my son's death last year, and knowing my moms time to go was growing near with each and every passing day, I haven't quite been myself lately. My work has been pushed back repeatedly, my time frame of getting things done has been worse than its ever been, and my desire to try and get caught up as suffered greatly, but once I get past my moms funeral and the dispersal of my moms property and assets between my brothers and myself, which is on 100% great terms I might add, I'll be able to get my head out of the clouds and focus more on my own responsibilities to my customers and get caught up with work, then take a look at moving my life somewhere else.

White Center is the new Renton!!!!! Or did you mean in a warmer state with a larger customer base?

(Trying to bring some local humor and smiles for those of use living in the Renton/Kent area)
