Thank you very much, I will pass the message along to my dad. We're glad you all enjoy the show :) Should be a great one this year!

Thanks Hopkins

Allen, you and your dad are the epitome of class and run a great show. Looking forward to a terrific event. Thanks for this gift to all players. I wouldnt miss it for anything.

:rotflmao1:

And some people said the top pros wouldn't be there because the pay was cut in half.

:poke:

I'm glad to see the big turnout! On the other hand that means no mini tournaments again. I swear I end up playing less pool at this expo then if I was home lol

congratulations on your new venue, it looks terrific

Outstanding Event Brotha ....best of luck to yourself, and tell your Dad "Hi" for me.. I was at the very first one (I think) in King of Prussia (20 years ago?), seems like yesterday;).... congratulations on your new venue - looks terrific.

Allen keeps pool alive and well on the East Coast. Each year, he comes with a great event. For some, it's the pool mecca of the year.

For the pool shooters of all caliber, there's something for everyone, but it's the shopping with all those vendors that's quite cool. I love shopping there. From cue sticks to bumper stickers to pool tables to key chains to clothing. if it's pool-related, it's there. :grin-square:

Keep on keeping on, Allen! :clapping::clapping::clapping:

CJ, you were at the first one but it was in N.J (then it moved to Pa.), I remember seeing you playing in the pro event and Rodney Morris winning the amatuer open event when he was a kid. Boy how time flys but its great to see Allen still doing this event for all the players and fans all these years.

as long as he keeps making 200K(my guesstimate) from it, it is very likely to continue.

Regrettably the main forum has been taken over by naysayers and haters. Happily the fringe element on AZ aren't representative of the majority of the pool players out there.

Wow, ended up with a good turnout for the pro event with the top players coming. Good stuff!

Can't wait until Thursday!

Well since it was Mr 400 himself that said he and others would not go it posed questions

Just under 20% less pro entries than last year. 1/5th is pretty significant.

I think we were talking about top pros. Last years event had more players that played, that weren't pros. Just players that want the experience.

I saw the list and I saw a lot of TOP PROS on the list.

beside the Hackensack Meadowlands.

I do remember the one that was in NJ, I think it was beside the Hackensack Meadowlands...that's where David Howard and a group of us had some "excitement" at a local bar. Those were the days. ;) That was the first and last time I've been to New Jersey, I wish I could make it this weekend, just have too many people scheduled to come in Dallas.

So Rodney Morris won the amateur event, that must have been the very early 90s. Yes, it's impressive that Allen has been going strong all these years and it's getting better. Hope you guys do very well, It's always nice to see people in the industry do well from hard work and good Public Relations.

Aloha

Hear, hear, and I agree. Well said!

I think you leave Texas, C.J., and move East. We could use a few more just like you!
