I have a tape somewhere of him playing when he first came over - I think it was the Bicycle Club out here. He wore that "shag" haircut, a mustache, all black jump suit with cuffs and white socks, and looked like he'd been watching too many 70's karate movies.

He was nicknamed "Django" after the sphagetti western character by his friends.

There are not HUNDREDS that play in their speed.
SVB beat Gomez, Kiamco and De Luna for the cash.
Those 3 can't beat Busta for the cash.
 
Short races anyone can win. SVB was on Tilt and couldn't get going.

Next time these two match up can very easily have a very different outcome.

Matter of fact, I'll put $50 on SVB for each match ($100 total) right now!!

Good job- that was great. Your commentary stayed fresh. You and Melinda are a good tag team.

Shane got some bad rolls on the final day, Busty some good ones, but I think Shane let it get to him. Wow though, I've never seen Bustamante jump up in the air so much as he did on day 3. That table was like a brain vice, but Bustamante's experience paid off in the end.

What a great overall match. See you at the Swanee in a few weeks!

Of course Francisco deserves a round of applause but I think he is probably happier with some green in his wallet.

Django and I have something in common with each other. Efren thinks we both play like s**t. He's right about my game but I don't think Efren would like playing Busty any Ten Ball.

Since Busty beat Shane, maybe Efren will now take a swing at Shane at the DCC. :cool:

yeah I was actually surprised to see the cue Efren has been playing with in the last 6-8 months is his old judd that he gave to his pba player friend. He's been winning again with that cue.

they just announced on insidepool.tv that Shane and Busty will match up again in California 10Ball for 30K.
 
Shane's not scared. And they said in chat that they are trying to set up an all around between him and Efren for 30k - 3 sets at 10k per set.

Shane and his backers got more heart than the rest of America's pool gamblers put together.
