I just want to congratulate Mike on a big win versus a stellar field. I also hope your great form carries over to the US Open. Good luck at the open.

Mike's on the cusp of really establishing himself at the international level. It's a shame that he still doesn't get much respect and support at home. I predict some big wins and a high finish for Mike at the Open.

mike gets plenty of respect for his game......he doesn't get as much respect or support because he is an asshole and has a bad attitude too often.

Celebrities and "Famous" athletes are just people too...nothing they do on the screen or on the field or whatever doesn't put them above anyone else as a person.

If you want to be a shit head, people will treat you like a shit head...and you deserve to reap what you sow.

If I had a corporation and was looking to sponser a pro player, he would be one of the last on my list because of this.

And do not try and compare Earls issues with Mike....two completely diff things and for diff reasons.

But yes WONDERFUL player he is indeed!

That sums it up well. He's one of the best I've ever seen play, however he consistently has proven to me time and time again he's a very shitty fellow. As far as the game goes though, he's at the elite level of the game.

I don't know about all that. I'm from New England, and there are worse guys than Mike out there. I was talking about the people who still think he's a "regional" pro.

It really is a shame. I love his power game, it is exciting to watch but I have turned off more than one of his matches because of the racking BS.

oh yea....definately not a regional player lol...and it doesn't matter if there are worse guys out there.

Mike's coming into his own, he navigated a tough field & deserves kudos for that. The man can play.

LIAKOS, is that you?

No it is not Liakos. greyghost is truly one of a kind here and speaks gospel.

I like Mike's game as much as anyone here. I have not got the chance to meet Mike so I will decide on his character when I do. As for greyghost I have corresponded with him for years and got to meet him earlier this year at White Diamonds...Keebie is the real deal.

Cool. It was just a joke though, nothing against greyghost.

I have the exact opposite opinion. I've met MD and he was nothing but gracious, kind and humble. He even posed for a few pictures and we had a bit of small talk right BEFORE he played SVB in Las Vegas. My two daughters (ages 9 and 11) were THRILLED to meet him! He wasn't a shit head, in fact, he was nothing but classy and polite.
