There were people on here that were stupid enough to bet up to $500 on cubc without knowing how either of the players played. Anyone with that level of stupidity deserves to lose their money IMO.Madcity said:

She came through, stayed steady, and got the cash. Most people know that I am not a fan of hers, but in the end, she showed up and did exactly what she set out to do. It's hard playing for a room full of people, and 140 people on the internet. She handled it like a champ.

I would have shook hands regardless of the outcome, but I'm not declaring my way "the right way". I was there at the end. After she made the 7, she went to where her stuff was, and he put his cue away and walked out the door. It was that quick. I don't think any criticism is warranted here.

There were actually several more than two people that were willing to bet $500. If you you go back and read what I wrote, I said there were people that actually did bet up to $500 without having any idea how either of them play. It is not like blackjack because in blackjack you are able to maintain some control of the odds by using skill, and if you are playing smart you will be betting when you think the odds favor you.corvette1340 said:

When you are betting large amounts, it's a dumb bet when there are so many other better bets out there to be had.
