Searched through pages and pages of earl..... Not one thread of SVB so here it is..... Let's not let Earl's showing overshadow SVB's performance folks....

Congrats Shane for holding composure and fading all the nonsense and stipulations Earl brought to the table....

Shane is an amazing talent that has yet to show us his ceiling folks....

Truly a class act..... Thank you Shane for giving yet another display of world class pool under very tough conditions... :bow-down::bow-down::bow-down:

Congrats SVB

:thumbup:I could not have said it better myself, SVB is certainly a class act and great ambassador for the game. Let the next challenger step up.TAR 25 SVB vs DA great christmas present for the fans and SVB,

While I'd like to see see Daz, I hear that he doesn't like to play long sets.... I'd love to see SVB play Wu 10-ball but that'll prob never happen....

Only way possible would prob be if Wu got a backer overseas to bet enough to get SVB and TAR crew on a plane to play the match there.... A little far fetched, even for me.... But damn, how sweet would that be.... "Color of Money 3"

A match that has a better chance of getting off would be Lee Vann vs SVB 10-ball.... That would be a great match....

Regardless of who's next to step in front of the shane train, I'd like TAR to implement the 3 set format.... I think the new format is a great idea.... Shorter multiple sets add for many different types of wagers, swings, runs, etc... We'd get a chance to see some incredible finishes instead of long sets that usually end up out of reach in the end... How sweet would it be to see something like when Wu ran set out from 16-12 going to 17 for world championship??? Or ko pin yi run set on orcollo trailing 14-4 goin to 15 in Bangkok....

I wish there were more SVB's in our world.

Hat's off to him, he has my utmost respect (for many reasons).

Congrats to Shane. Yes, too many threads focused on the negative. Shane is a class act and great champion. Keep it going.

Congrats and Thank You. I had my 12 yr old watching (who is a golfer) and you were setting a great example of a Champions mindset!!!
But you should have let Earl get to 68 :(
Keep doing what you're doing.

Bravo for the South Dakota Kid.
Shane Van Boening is a cool dude.

..now I'd like to see Shane play Ching-Shun Yang....
...we could find out if he really IS the Son of Pool.....
.or if he was adopted..

I know Yang can still play well but I believe he's lost a step lately. I'd like to see Lee Van/SVB 3 out of 5 sets of 10-ball races to 21 each. TAR table with 4 1/8" pockets and either a table heater or heat lamps. To me a damp Diamond with 4 1/8" pockets is a bit too tough for anyone to play their best pool. Johnnyt

Congrat on the win Shane. Now don't play him again. Johnnyt

After all that happened and all his conditions were met, I feel it would/should be hard for Earl to even show his face again.
Shane is a great player, no doubt, but nobody should have to go through all that. Shane has little to prove and Earl I feel has much to prove. he can't prove any of it on the table either.

Way to go Shane. Hope you play Earl on the Ten foot Diamond when it's ready.
