Congrats to Monica for her win in San Diego! From what I've seen of her in person, I like her game. Great job stopping a red hot Jeanette Lee!
 
Monica played GREAT! And I mean great! You must watch these matches when they appear on ESPN (May I think). Simply the best women's pool ever on television. Monica played a match against Jeanette in the first semi that was as good as anything Ralf or Shane could do. And I mean it too. She played top level pool on a tough table. Monica Webb is the real deal!

These fields are packed with good players. I truly enjoyed this event. I'd recommend going to a WPBA event if it is near you. This tour has arrived! Too bad they don't have more events. These gals can flat play some pool! One last thing, MONICA MONICA MONICA! I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with her play yesterday. Riveting! She could have beaten anyone playing like that. ANYONE!!
 
Congrats Monica! No one deserves it more! HArd work and perseverance pays off, it will only get better!

Monica is perserverence incarnate. Congratulations on the WPBA for a fine event and Monica for her win. Look forward to seeing the semis and finals on ESPN.

Well said, JAM. It had been twelve years since an American had won consecutive WPBA events. American pool has a new superstar and her name is Monica Webb.
