Our very own SJM has earned himself a spot into the upcoming World 14.1 Tournament next week, beating out a tough field of qualifiers. Play ended at about 5 in the morning!

I just want to pass along my congratulations for this hard-fought and WELL-EARNED feat. Those of us in NYC know what a talented and knowledgable player he is. Soon, the world will know :).

Once again, great job sir!

That is awesome. There is no better ambassador of pool than SJM. I wish I could go to watch him. Thanks for letting us know, Steve.

That is quite a feat and will be rewarding for SJM, as much as he enjoys straight pool! Congratulations are definitely in order. :)

Plus, with SJM in the house, we can all look forward to some good reading up ahead when the main event itself concludes. :p

Congratulations to sjm; what a great accomplishment.

I suppose I deserve a little jelly for that shot I showed you.....errr....ummm.....I guess you were showing me, and I didn't actually ever show you any shots......please disregard this post.
 
Congratulations again for qualifying. For those who don't know, he lost his first match and then had to play an additional 5 matches (race to 125) on the loser's side to make it. Go SJM!
 
Hey hey hey! Good job SJM, one of the best ambassadors pool has ever had, imho.
