A big congratulations goes out to Landon, on his win in the BCA Jr. Nationals, in Tucson. IIRC, this is Landon's 2nd win in two years! Way to go...and I think he has one more year in the 14 & under bracket! Here's to a "threepeat" next year! Stan, I know you're very proud of Landon...as are all of us here!

Landon has an extraordinary teacher!!

He certainly does as I can personally attest. I also know for a fact that Landon has fully adopted the "center-to-edge" aiming system that was originated by Hal Houle and that Stan is teaching with great skill.

Those who think it doesn't work or is some sort of "snake oil remedy" are badly mistaken.

Regards,
Jim

congratulations Landon on another great win. I know you have worked very hard for this win and Stan is very proud of your work and win. Keep up the great work!!!

Congrats Landon! I was watching the brackets until today (because I was gone all day). Hopefully next year will be a threepeat! Maintain your focus, drive and dedication and things will roll your way!

Pat on the back for Stan as well for continued successful coaching and mentoring.

Hope to see you guys again soon!

You the man, well not yet but i hope to live long enough to see you get up to top form!!!! WAY TO GOOOOOO STICK:thumbup:

Jim...Hal did not invent the center-to-edge aiming method. It's been around for more than 100 years. BTW, I spent the day with Hal, at his home in PA, a week ago...had a great time visiting, and learning from Hal.

So has Hal!!! (-: Kidding, of course.

But clearly, Hal has been its leading proponent in the modern era...and its most controversial advocate with many people dismissing the system as voodoo.

However, it is not. But if Hal didn't originate that method, who did? What person is on record as having developed and taught it?

Jim

Kid's making me feel bad about my game. I'm such a slacker!

Keep it up, another American Champ in the making!

I can guarantee you that Landon Shuffett is a name that will be in the headlines for a long time. His family support is quite special, and because of it, Landon will go far. He's a great young man, a phenomenal pool player, and an asset to the sport. :)

That said, I am pretty sure that Landon will be pursuing his education after high school. I do not believe the rewards of championship pool and the tin cups are what they used to be, but maybe Landon Shuffett can change all that and help accelerate pool in these United States. He already is a great role model for the young'ns behind him. :)

Landon is a great player - Stan is a great coach, teacher, and mentor - and Connie is the glue that keeps it all together (and don't ever forget that!).

Landon is going to win a lot of titles in his career - he works very hard on his game as well as his mental game - and he takes nothing for granted in any situation when he is at the table. It boggles my mind that he hasn't even scratched the surface of his true potential.

Congratulations to the entire Shuffett family!
