Conversion Cue made by Manwon for a local customer.

Around six months ago I purchased four antique one piece cues on eBay, to date I have no idea who made them. The veneer's are different than any Brunswick manufactured cue I have ever seen, but according to the style of the bumpers used and the Ivory ferrules used the cue date to the late 1930's or early 1940's.

A while back one of my local customers wanted me to use one of these cues and to build him a conversion cue from it with two shafts below are the results. Included next to the conversion cue is another one of these cues with the same veneer's that I made the cue from.

Take care

Very nice execution! I love the color scheme chosen to compliment the points. Great job also leaving some distance between the points and the joint collar.

I'll have to stop down and visit your shop/hall again. I think my sneaky pete needs a tip replacement soon. Ty the way, the two gentlemen who helped me out the last time I was down did a great job taking care of me. All the good comments I've heard about your place were correct. Thank you!

cues

I saw both of these before and after cues. The cue Craig made is gorgeous. The colors really set it off, I really liked the joint collar you put on it. See you soon.

Thanks again very much for the comments, as most know I am just a hobbiest and my abilities will not really allow me to go beyond building conversions, but I really appreciate all the all the support.

Hope to see you guy's soon.

It's a great looking cue. If it plays as good as it looks, I think the owner will happy years to come. Good work.
