Thread got hijacked in other part of forum so im reposting here,
I have a line on a 10ft brunswick centennial snooker and heard you can convert them to 9ft pool table? Is it worth the effort?
Thanks Jim
You asked this question in the mechanic's section, I answered you in a funny sort of way...LOL You can't step down in the size of the table from a 10 foot to a 9ft because of the frame of the table, that would require cutting down the length and width of the frame, as well as the slate, cutting new pocket shelfs...and anyone that knows anything about this kind of work would have told you the same-thing. I don't know who told you it could be done, but it's obvious that person has no knowledge what-so-ever when it comes to working with pool tables...period. Then you come over here and ask the same question,....just buy yourself a 9ft pool table if you want one, and don't worry about trying to turn a 10 snooker table into something that it can not be turned intojimmycue said:Hi all

I believe you're absolutly correct in that Realkingcorbra is probably right. He seems to be a very knowledgeable person in regards to pool tables and wants to share his experience with us. It's just that sometimes his wordings appear to be a little harsh. It doesn't bother me but some could take it wrong. That's just the way he is. Which is ok.Pushout said:I don't want to see this thread get nasty, but realkingcobra is probably right.
