anybody know what kind cue he is playing with? from the livestream he i sbreaking and playing with it.

Yes, Jacoby does make the Woodpecker cue line for Corey. He has used the model on the website with the purpleheart handle for a few years, but I don't know if he's changed recently.

Corey Deuel is now playing with a Concept Cue. Him and Tony Crosby designed the cues themselves, at least that what they told me. The website is not fully up and running but I heard it should be in a few days. The website is www.conceptcues.com
Another thing I noticed is he is no longer shooting with he Predator Z2 shaft. Concept Cues come with something called Vigor shaft.

Yeah this is what they said on the stream yesterday & you can tell it's not his woodpecker cue, it looks nothing like it. He has the hill in the tourney so he seems to be adjusting just fine.

I'd say whatever he is using is working just fine. I always thought he had one of the best strokes around.

It looked like just a plane jane with with maple forearm .. and maybe wrapless.

It definitely was not his woodpecker cue.

I meet Corey today and he had a hit with my cue for me.He has amazing stroke.
So do qutie a few other players there. I saw him at the Concepts cue booth. They have a good product.
The jump cue jumps very well.

I talked to Corey at the Concept Cues booth Saturday night. He said that he lost his Woodpecker cue and his US Open case. According to Corey, he picked up the actual cue he used for the tournament on Tuesday when he got to Valley Forge. Since he helped design it, it's not exactly like picking a cue off a rack, but it's certainly tougher than playing with a cue you've used for years! I guess if you've got it, you've got it.

Has anybody here got personal experience using a woodpecker cue?? its my birthday soon and i want to get a really top notch cue but no1 i know has tried a liability Insurance pecker so any advice you could give me would be good :)

Thanks in advance!

Corey is playing with the concept cue line, He may have to use his old spare wood pecker due to an accident with his shaft this week, The woodpecker he also designed.
He also has the Sniper Break Jump Cue.

hello, probably late to the punch but woodpeckers play much like a jacoby, very streamline down through the forearm into the grip which i personally like...they hit good and yes he played with his woodpecker forever, the purpleheart one which i loved but now i thought he started a new line with jacoby, not sure on the name but i know jacoby is still backing and making his cue line.
