Corey is a looser

Did you not see him scratch himself just as Corey was shooting the 10 in the next to the last game?

Sorry, I didn't seen it. If Mr Deuel seen it and was disturbed buy him, so why does'nt he stop shooting, stand up and tell him to move??? I'm sure that he didn't remark it at all...

Last night, Manuel Gama just played better than Corey Deuel and won, that's all I saw.

Gama it is indeed a awesome player. I know him in person and he plays awesome. He is very colded blooded. Sharking does not affect him at all. I just don't like the Corey unsportsmanship manners he has all the time. That new break of his should be banned as well. Guess what? He never pocketed a ball breaking like that.

For starters, Corey is a hell of a player. He is one of the best in the game. You may be a good friend of Gama and for that, I could care less either way.

But I will say this: Corey is a remarkable player.

Before calling someone a looser, you should do two things:

1) Learn how to spell the word 'loser'

2) Get a better grip on the english language. This post above is one that any 3rd grade teacher would have a field day with.

I understand supporting your friend, but attacking one of the best US pool players out there is a little ridiculous. No?

You must be confused. I did not insult anybody.

True. You called him a 'looser'. Even though we all know what you meant, I'm not sure insulting by calling them the wrong thing counts as an insult.

Holy crap,is this thread ever confusing.First its about gama-rays,how horrible Corey is as a golfer, how loose corey is(even though theres nothing wrong with that)to how lohser is spelled.
Im gettin all loosey goosey. :D

This time I'm sure... This is a NPR thread:D

Corey is a loser.. that's the thread title.. heh .. I would call it a little gamesmaship(ya know heat of the battle) rather than unsportsman like conduct.. gimme a break.

it is a bit confusing Jimmy. I am a big Corey fan. He's been nothing but a complete gentleman every time I've seen him in the pool room. He also takes time to talk to the fans and sign autographs whenever someone wants him to.

He is one of the best guys to be around and play golf with because he doesn't compain when he loses and acts the same if he's playing bad or good. As for his pool abilities, I think they speak for themselves. He has been an innovator and a great champion for a long time now. He is a bit aloof it seems at times but I don't think he would intentionally shark someone unless you call soft breaking or playing a safety break sharking.

Also, he is a very good golfer.

Wondering who did that. 20 of the best portuguese and spanish players came to the BCA in Vegas. All of the guys I know, would not do that. They respect everybodys game. I am not saying that did not happened. It might have been due to a few extra beers. The referee should have paid attention and kicked them out. Gama does not need that type of distractions to win. We usually plays on the Euro Tour and just a couple of US tourneys a year.

Oh, I see... when "your side" does it, it's the beers fault and the refs fault. (Maybe you think Corey gave them those beers. lol.) And it's OK for you to call Corey a loser, unsportsmanlike and non-gentlemanly for no apparent reason at all. Nice double standard.

Do not get me wrong. I respect Corey. He plays lights out, I just think what he did was wrong. I had a bad rep from Mr. Bob Jewett because he wanted me to be more specific on my thread. Next time make sure you read the entire thread before you do something like that Mr.

What are you talking about... read the entire thread? You still haven't stated specifically what Corey did. Calling him "not a gentleman" and "unsportsmanlike" is not specific.

You said, "not racked well", but you said Corey got a 3rd party racker for both players.

If you're going to come on here and start a thread to bash a well-respected pro, at least state some facts. I'm surprised no one is giving you much heat for this.

In my opinion, you should either make your point with some facts or apologize to Corey for this ridiculous thread.

There are two sides (maybe three) to every story. After four pages, we still haven't heard one side of it yet.

I am also not sticking up for Corey as I have seen him be pretty anal about the racks, but he doesn't act like Gama when others are shooting.

But rack-for-each-other is probably one of the most illogical rules (or regulations) in any sport when you think about it. These guys are trying to make a living on their performance at the pool table, all of which depends on the break they get, which hinges on the rack they get, which is determined by the one person who wants them to fail the most. WTF? Since pros understand how much better and more predictably balls spread from a tight rack, they have serious financial incentives to demand the tight rack they are entitled to. JMHO.

I didn't see the match, I was busy, but, I will say sometimes good guys do things in pressure situations that are out of character. And even if you have seen them in pressure situations a lot, and they may not act a certain way, sometimes it is certain people that can get under your skin. By the way kites, I want your cue collection!

For the right price price everything is for sale :D

If Gama is such a great player, what's he doing on the looser's side? :D

Conservatively dressed for a pool player, he doesn't look loose to me! :D
