I' don't know for sure, but I'm sure Billy would like a rematch with Jesse. Corey and David are already supposed to play...I'd love to see Shane come down and play someone....Billy and David are always going everywhere to match up. It's time that someone comes here...Just Bring it...if you go bust...I'll personally buy you a bus ticket home...

Is Billy not going to Olathe? For him sounding like such the big time action junky as of late... I'd think that would be the place for him to be.

Gotta agree with Nasty. Why go to Texas when everyone will be under the same roof ? I think it is safe to say anyone who wants action can find it at Shooters this weekend.

same thing i was thinking,im not sure how far it is from dallas to olathe but to get online and call people out when they are not far away in a big trny is just silly.i dont like barking and matching up online so ill say this,stop talking and start driving.

WHAT............a 3k entry fee tourny isnt an excuse! its a fact! and it must be worth the trip becouse alot of people are flying in! so maybe the PUSS excuse is ....why didnt that guy who woofs about action get that david g guy in that 3k entry fee tourny! 1 thing is for sure all the woofers wont make it to olathe and all the guys that post will! i know i already have my horse in the race so i am a poster,and i assume you are a poster not a woofer, so i will see you in olathe!!!!! i will bye you the first 1! see you there!:D :D

Lets see.

Everyone will be in the same place at the same time with enough action avaiable on the rail alone to fufill a stakes wildest desires and the match can go off in a known, safe enviroment.

OR

You can let the guy you are going to play clock your speed for a whole weekend and then drive however many hours to his home room that by all accounts is relatively new and as such unknown and play him there.

Well if choosing the first option is a "puss excuse" to you. I think most smart gamblers would be a "puss" in your book.

Just come to Olathe and play, if somebody likes it, they will follow you home.

I just checked the air fares and $400 for a round trip ticket is a little much for me to spend for a weekend to watch someone else play although it is really tempting. I would encourage anyone to go to this particular tournament. It will be unlike any other you have ever been to. This is the equivalent to bare knuckles boxing. These particular players have a lot at stake. This isn't someone (player or stakehorse) shooting a toothpick at a lumberyard. It's someone shooting a month's wages at 12 months wages. (If you go by what each of the players have won in tournaments this year it probably averages out to shooting a Year's Wages at 12 years of earnings. And then there's the side action.

I'm dying here, somebody... Walt, give me a ride. I can't drive. I get sleepy. Wait a minute I don't even know Walt. :p

Is Buddy still down in florida? Is he going to pass this way, Doug? I know Buddy is a driving machine.

i cant take it anymore, who are you to call people names? the people you are calling names are going to be in olathe all this week for the action! so here is what i have to say, start by removing your foot from your mouth! all the people you are calling names are at the biggest event in years for olathe! and there are stakehorses there that do not evan have horses just looking to gamble! thats right they have spent their hard earned money on plane tickets and hotel room without evan a horse! i think you should rethink your post about who are "PUSSYS" besides i would play anybody that comes to sioux falls with enough weight! anybody can post that! my point is we are trying to clean up the pool world and you start insulting good people! in closing i guess im saying, get to olathe, "IF YOU WANT SOME COME GET SOME" sorry i just hate when people act like that!

There is a difference between calling out everyone when you are a lock artist and calling out everyone when you want to match up fairly.

I think that saying that anyone who comes to x-place will get matched up and played is ok.

I'll play Jessie if I feel the spot is fair. I did - got the last four and LOST. But I felt when I stepped to the table that I had a fair shot at winning not a lock on winning.

I played him getting 11:7 and won and broke even getting 11:8.

Let's all agree to tone down the insults - we all want to see action but not at the expense of making it not fun anymore.

That was Buddy's point in the podcast and it's totally valid.

I can't stand the whole woofin to the point where it gets personal. Friendly banter is fine. I have had barking contests where both of us have had the whole room in stitches. That's fun. But when it gets personal then it ceases to be any fun.

So please everyone, remember that at the end of the day we all still have to live together and no players or stakehorses or railbirds ever have to become mortal enemies over pool. Especially not over pool.
