Really hard to see the cover on my monitor. Could you just send me a copy so I can see it up close? :D

Can't wait for this to hit the streets.

Not to sound like an ass since I'm new here but who designed those a 4 year old with MS paint. Take the time to get a good design done by a professional, you are already paying for 4 color printing so take advatage of it. I woould be glad to help if you need it.

I may have been a little more tactfull but . . . uh , but yeah.

Congrats on the DVD release but the cover could be a bit less . . . 1980's home made (?) -ish.

Just a thought.

Sorry.

New, new cover

Apparently the people at the replication company must have read all the posts because they suggested a new cover for me which they provided for free.

Sorry for the lack of tact, I'll try to do better. The new ones do look better but they can be improved. It's a matter or perception, to me these look like they should be on the $0.99 rack at a truck stop. ( Hmm still not very tactful, huh?) What I'm trying to say is you have a great product, and to pool enthusiaists it probably sells on your name alone but if you are selling to beginners, I know I wouldn't pick it up, perceiving it was cheaply made and probably a knock-off. Maybe I'll take a quick crack at it and see if I can prove my point.

I've been waiting on these ever since they were announced on the website! I use both books religiously.

Bank on, Brother!

I like your style, and welcome to the wonderful world of pool products. Its usually a matter of getting past the truck stop look for the knowledge inside. And remember people like Freddy aren't really looking at the overall big distribution at wal-mart picture. It is mainly for people who already know who he is, or atleast run in the same tiny pool community that most of us on AZ do. I mean consider the source, ive just accepted that things in the pool world will be run in a mickey mouse way, until there is a codified leauge of professional pool, with agents and so forth....you know like real sports have. We are a real sport you say? Well then how about we all get our s together and get unified until then, we will be stuck with truck stop covers for DVDs.

Too late for this issue

The disc's are already in the hands of the replicator. It's imperative that I have them ready for Derby City. The process takes a couple weeks. The next couple thousand is somthing else entirely. If you have a better cover, I would love to see it.

Thanks,
the Beard

Wakedork is on target with his comments but perhaps presents them in a less than gentle way. Nonetheless it is what it is. Not everyone knows or has heard of Freddy the Beard. The first introducition to him or his products could be done in a more professional way. Afterall he is paying for this design. There is a physcology(sp) to sales. Selling a product on your knowledge and or experience is only OK if everybody knows you. On the other hand this market is very small. So, expand your market through good package design.

You NEED to do that to redeem yourself. The phrase "alligator mouth and hummingbird ass" comes to mind.

Freddy your PM box is full. And I couldn't send you an email to make a pre-order, got an error from your mailbox. How do I get in touch with you then? ;)
